I just went through Garrus's loyalty mission, I was disappointed when he pulled out a pistol since he doesn't even have one. And, it isn't like Bioware can pull the whole "swapped models" thing, since it's his mission. Only flaw in the mission, though.

Garrus is so awesome that he is able to materialize weapons out of thin air using his badassery

Guys don't confuse gameplay with story. In story all characters are trained with all weapons, but in gameplay theres restrictions so it brings balance to the game.

Shepard probably gave Garrus her magic pistol.

@Kraidy: Then, why don't they make them have all weapons in cutscenes?

I feel so... happy right now! Huzzah for the drunkie thread, and huzzah for you, Xsause. :wizard:

I am dangerously close to buying the Garrus wine. It's 60 quid a bottle, and they only sell it in crates of 6, so this may be the most expensive ill-advised-geek-buy of my life. But I love Garrus, and I love wine, so it's complicated.  lol

Can anyone remember who it is in C-Sec in ME1 who says something like 'I'm glad you took Garrus with you. He would have gotten into trouble if he stayed here.'? I am away from the ol' xbox for a few days, and I remember that conversation, but not the sayer (of course, it may have been a dream. I do that sometimes. :?)

Most likely Pallin Janey. I got the convo with Pallin for the first time asking about Garrus (previous PTs I had talked to him before I saw Garrus XD) and he tells you about his awesomeness yet his chafing at the bit with rules n stuff.

Cheers. I was torn between Paillin, Chellik, and the requisition officer (for some reason I remember it being inside C-Sec, but my brain remembers images wrong)

Not Garrus-related (well, he's on my team, but that's it), but I just ran into a really weird glitch on Grunt's recruitment mission...

Right after the tank-grown krogan opens a path for you, you run into 2 mercs. I kill them both, but then one gets back up. He's only got a shield bar, no health bar, and he's not shooting at me. Garrus and Mordin keep killing him...and he keeps getting back up!

I just got past the stream of krogan on those narrow paths, and he's still there.

@Nilfalasiel Persistent merc. He's afraid of what Jedore might do to him.
But some glitches are annoying. I used throw on a merc in Thane's RM and the merc got stuck in the wall screaming. And in Grunt's RM, I just had to get close to Garrus and he started running up.

And this happened to Kasumi after she died and I was done with a fight.

Woooo new DLC! Can't wait. I've come to the point that I don't play ME2 anymore and spend a lot of time on the forums. Anything to get me playing again :P

Michael Gamble wrote...

Overlord will be gold standard Bioware quality (think Kasumi - but longer). VO based conversations, cutscenes, strong narrative.

It's 5 full missions (one of them being a vehicle based hub) - and just wait until you see the boss.

/me thinks this will be fun.

Actually, the same thing happened to my Kasumi on her LM. I have no idea why, but she started looking like that when we got into Hock's place and only went back to normal after I got killed and had to reload (damn Insanity mode X_x).

Chameleon Kasumi for better sneaking. But she got the wrong camouflage.

Wow, the DLC sounds a lot longer than I thought it would be. I'll read the forums to find out what happens, and I hope you guys will post Garrus' dialogue so I can see it. I can't even play Mass Effect right now, not that I would have the DLC anyway... but all of my stuff got moved around and the Xbox controller is lost somewhere in the middle of it all. xD

The Garrus thread has nice distractions though - Saren penguin, it's so cute! :D (For the record, my MainShep totally thought he was cute before he became part penguin, and she would have told him that to his face. I can just imagine his shock and confusion.) That adolescent turian is cute too. Now that we've seen a young krogan, I've been wondering what young turians look like.
