It's because Shepard is essentially wearing a helmet.  A Garrus helmet.  And I used the female Shepard because for some reason, Garrus's face is animated better with her than with male Shepard.  With male Shepard, he doesn't open his mouth all the way.


Ah, it's a helmet. That makes sense. It didn't sound like the familiar flanging effect, but like she was heard on a radio.

I know I asked this like four hundred pages ago, but then I ran off and didn't read the answer. Has anybody noticed that the lights on Garrus' loyalty armor will sometimes flash green during a mission? Any idea what that means?

*edit* Oops, I mean on the fixed armor in the appearance pack. It will flash green sometimes.

I have noticed that too. I think it just an animation error or has something to do with Mountain Dew.

Is anybody else bothered by that weird communication headset thing on the alternate appearance armor? A lot of times I stick him back in his beat up armor for dialog because I want to see his face better. Maybe that's just me.



I actually wonder about that with the big hole in his original armor. There's lots of times where he turns his head "just so" and his collar would otherwise be blocking his face if not for that big hole.

I love the new armor. I love the beer straws ^.^

I also like the colors. Orange/Red visor doesn't bug me since I Renegade his little butt.

I also love the loyalty/original armors.

That didn't bug me for some reason, but I can see where classic blue is quite appealing.  There's something about  Garrus and the color blue come to think...
