Their head is longer, to begin with, so their whole neck structure is different, and that of course influences the chest, and shoulders. Wouldn't mind seeing different kinds of outfits, just to know them better. Or naked turian men.
I don't have any specific anatomical fetish, though. But I do know if I could touch a turian only once, just once, I would totally go for the scaley skin behind their mandibles.

Turian hips are great, but what I reeeeally love are their shoulders.
I totally agree ... those broad shoulders ... mmmm.

I know that when they described Garrus asa reptile/avian I couldn't see it. O_o To me he looks much more like a feline/turtle hybrid, esp. with the collar thing going on.

I think it's just sketchiness. And looking through some of the concept art for ME2 has shown me that you can't really take the concept as fact, especially if it's early concept work..
Yeah, I second this. It sucks that that one pic is the only thing we have to go on with turians sans clothes, but as long as people don't t to make turian bodies look too human-ish, I don't find it as like...sacriligeous...as some for fan artists to deviate from the concept art a little. Like Aris said, a lot of things change between concept art (concept being the operative word here) and final product -- and since the devs have declined to paint an updated turian body underneath that armor at all (people have looked, or so I hear), we don't know what turians look like sans clothes, not officially. I guess my point is, as with a lot of things, don't get too hung up on one painting when these turian biology debates get going...

I've always liked how Saren had a more "feral" look to his fingers and toes.
What I really want to know is why his zygomatic bones extend way beyond his face...
Maybe he just likes how evil they look. Like the turian equivalent of a diabolical moustache-goatee. muwahaha.

Might have been posted before, but I think this is the greatest fanart I've ever seen. If this was poster-sized in the store, I'd buy it.

One of my all-time favorites. SquidBunny used to post in this thread, actually, and showed us the works in progress for that one (the black and white version looks awesome too, you should check it out). Guess she/he left when they started the new thread, like a lot of people did. =(. I have to admit I might downgrade to lurking except to comment on awesome/funny stuff, it seems the conversation keeps coming full circle back to things that were already beaten to death in the first 1.5 threads because no one ever reads back. Don't get me wrong, it's great that Garrus is getting new people for his fandom

but like I said the convos are all repeats for me now. I'll still return for the art/jokes/AMAZING resources and also to post my Garrus fanfic link when finished
.
Indeed. I also think it might just have something to do with the intial ZOMG-ness of the game being released and the reveal of Garrus as a romance option dying down. Sad as it is, the initial happyfreakouttime has worn off a little.

While I admit the initial "Garrus getting some" happiness has worn off for me, I think the whole ordeal has just revitalized my overall appreciation of Garrus. Thus, why I played an entire game of the original Mass Effect with him taking the place of my Shepard

Oh yes. I'm still here, aren't I?
And this thread has taken my GarrusLove to new (slightly frightening) heights; I've gone from nursing my addiction in quiet shame to full-blown fangirlism.

I liked Garrus way back in ME1. Can't wait for ME3. Which is sad cause we now have 2 to 3 years to go. Though with how many planned characters I have it might take that long.

Don't. I wish I were there, where you're at.
Aw man, I remember the best/weirdest feeling was in the first week or so, when it still had that "This is a dream. It is way too good to be true. I'm going to wake up and be disappointed as ****." And then it Just. Kept. Going.

If you think that the Garrus love is dying down in here, you should check out /v/ on 4chan. Any given day and time, there are Tali/Garrus love threads of some sort. I hope the Devs go to that forum just to see how popular Garrus really is.
Hey now, we ain't dead yet.

I was wary of the ability to romance Garrus. A) He's not human.I'm not entirely sure how it would work. C) They did such a good job of making him seem like the younger brother/apprentice in ME1, I expected him to remain such.
Instead, we got a turian Batman.
I would respectfully disagree on him being set up as a younger brother type- he came across as quite experienced and self-reliant. In the end, I think most people thought of him as a great 'wingman' or 'BFF.' In the demented imaginations of some of us, there was even some underlying romantic tension. It's all a matter of interpretation, of course.
I do agree that it is tough for many to get used to the physical appearance, but the sheer aura and personality of the character was what sealed the deal. Face it, Garrus is everything a lot of women want in a guy: Funny, strong-willed, highly capable and not just a little badass. And he has surprisingly little baggage. Win.
Yes, he is a kind of vigilante in #2, but to me it felt like a fairly natural progression. He showed signs of this nature in ME1, and then the loss of his commander/friend made him lose himself for a while. He coped by trying to emulate Shepard, but in his own way. Again, left up to interpretation, but it felt kind of bittersweet and endearing.

By obedient, I'm simply referring to the trust he puts into Shepard's decisions.
