Lets just say there was alot of flaming towards her and a disgusting pic, then I got accused of starting it. So I just left the thread for good. Still keep in contact with some of the friends I met there, but not going back in there after that day.

The head doesn't break when it's female shepard planetside, like in my video of Garrus getting drunk.  For some reason, using male Shepard makes his lips stick together when he's talking.  But I think the issue is that it breaks when it's on top of Shepard's head instead of replacing it completely.  When it's on top of it, it seems like it's a combination of Shepard's facial animations and Garrus's facial animations.  You notice in the videos of Shepard on Samara's mission, it's a little broken because Shepard is supposed to be in casual clothes with his/her regular head visible, like on the Normandy.  When Shepard is supposed to be in armor, the head can be replaced completely.  As for it getting broken compeletely, that seems to be the weird result of the armor and "helmet" combination.  It can be avoided by switching out the head and/or armor with the DLC armor and head.  Like in the videos from Samara's mission.  It's still kind of wonky, but it looks better than inside-out-face Garrus.

ty!  I don't know much of the coding behind it, sadly, but at least I know there's some functionality.

Not that I'm defending abject meanness or anything...but the Tali guys get attacked A LOT. I can see where that would make many of them defensive and overly aggressive. Still no excuse for blatant nastiness. Just because others do it to you doesn't mean you should do the same.

The thing is, I did't do anything. I was infect defending miri. When I came in the thread, they where already bashing Miri. I did't do anything, I was defneding a character. The whole thing started was because they posted a very disgusting pic of Miri.

He's trying to make up unflattering titles for every character.

Consider for Jacob something sexist, or something that has to do with him being hesitant and unsure of Cerberus' actions.

Kraidy, like Raga said, Tali fans get a lot of **** too. It's unfortunate that there were a few people who were being unreasonable but that's just the way it is. It's always the bad apples - the minority who ruin the fun for the other people.

Translation Unnecessary is one of my favourite racy fics. I just think it's incredible to realize that without translators, they can't speak each other's language--they probably can't even properly articulate the sounds necessary to learn each other's language beyond a few vague approximations of simple words.



I second Strange Bedfellows and Night To Remember, too, if we're looking for racy stuff.



Thessali's Deleted Scenes is entertaining me to no end as well.

True and you are probably right, but translation would still be needed for names as I doubt most cultures go out of their way to choose names for their kids that are friendly to mouth structure of alien races.

Yep, probably. Course it's all speculative, but that might make it more fascinating.

Actually, the codex points out that there are devices that most everyone uses that translate languages. Shepard, when talking to Thane, says that her translator must have slipped when he calls her "Siha".... I mean, not all species talk the same way... as in like... the Hanar use light in the communication. Some might not be able to speak in a way humans or similar beings can understand. The use of mechanical translators makes the most sense... just have to calibrate them for each new species. (Reminds me of the Chanar books...)
