That fic made me sad...I was only getting soft at the end of The Last Unicorn.
One thing I know after reading this fic, I'll have my Shepard dye her hair when she grows old.

I have. I'd say my source is actually pretty reputable, but I'm not going to name it.

Apparently a "sexy" scene would have been too hard to animate (and I can understand that; I mean the clipping issues alone would be a nightmare) and they didn't want to scare anyone by showing a half-naked turian.

I read the Hundred Year Distance on the kink meme. I was so close to tearing up at the end!

Another good one has been half posted today called Acceptable Loss. The prompt was: Shep has romanced Kaidan, then later Thane. But, not long after returning from the Collector base, Thane dies and she is devastated. Garrus is there to comfort her, just like he comforted her after Horizon/death of Kaidan on Virmire (whichever you want). She's infinitely grateful... until she notices the lingering touches, longing looks, etc. Turns out he's been in love with her all this time, but kept stepping aside, thinking he would just screw up and he should be grateful she was at least a part of his life, especially after she came back from the dead. And she would never be interested in him anyway. No matter how much it hurt to see her with someone else.

It's so incredibly sad. It's not finished yet but.. guh. SO awesome. Any angst-junkies should check it out here <a href="http://masskink.livejournal.com/346.html?thread=1179482#t1179482"> here</a> (it is a bit explicit at parts though, so steer away if you don't like that sort of thing).
