Congrats getting 800 pages! This thread is moving fast. O.o Although I have nothing to mark the occasion. :(

Nonsense, your congratulatory words mark the occasion.  And you reminded us that Garrus is not Jacob. :P

Alexine...here is jacob's romance.

what has been seen can't be unseen

Haha, it is cheesy. Poor Jacob can't give a good pick-up line to FemShep. And why did he strip off half-way? It looks like he's taking his shirt off for a modelling shoot rather than getting some lovin'. :P

Now I really need to try Garrus' romance now. Aw crap... I have uni in a few hours D:

You haven't seen it? Its pretty funny, but touching at the end. Thats all i'm going to say.

Random turian question time. Turian eye colour: Chellik has lovely green eyes, Garrus has grey/blue...most of the others seem to have pale grey. Are there any other eye colours I've not noticed? Like, any from the other side of the spectrum pallet? (yellow, red, etc)

I've seen some gold and gray eyes on turians. :) Ever since I figured out how to get good close-ups, I've been looking at all of the turian's tattoos, and the colors of their eyes/skin/faceplates. There are a lot more barefaced turians on the Citadel in ME1 than I would have thought. I even found a turian with gold tattoos.

Hopefully maybe I could come up with something when the thread hits 900.

And Garrus > Jacob in character, though I still liked Jacob, just not to romance him.

I like Jacob, too, and feel he gets unduly beat-up. Although there is NO excuse whatsoever for his final romance scene. On a scale of 1 to 10, Jacob's is maybe a 1.5 (extra half point because his abs made me crack up) and Garrus's is a 10. But, I'm a little biased. ;)

Seriously, it is so sweet and adorable. I don't know whose heart wouldn't melt watching it. Unless you reject him, of course...in which case you either don't have a heart to begin with, or it cracked in half when you tried it. :(

And it's Flux music!  How ironic is that?!  LMAO
(Man, Shep sure danced lame in ME1...and it always killed me to see you dancing with 4 guns strapped to your body. LOL!)

Femshep doesn't dance that badly in me1, but in me2, they are just bobbing in the music. The only time they bust a move was in Samara's loyalty mission, which was hilarious!

How is Flux music ironic btw?

I still haven't watched the Garrus rejection scene. ): I've seen pics of him walking away with the bottle of wine though.

When my MaleShep gets to ME2, he'll be dancing with a grenade launcher strapped to his back! xD

Anyone have a copy of Lorik's email from ME2? I'm seriously like sad, because I want him to testify, so I can get the 25 Renegade points, but I totally want the email ... I'm so torn!

*my obsession with these turians is getting scarey...* LI! :3

Yeah, and that's not even considered as paragon charm! *sadface*

The dancing really sucked in ME2. If there's a dancing option in ME3, I hope the 2 team members that are present at the time will join the dancefloor, instead of just standing there staring. Ooooohh I wanna dance with somebody... with somebody called Gaaaarruuus.

Why am I still here? I'm going to bed. FO' REAL!

For those who were curious, the Lorik e-mail, as posted by lily_mist over at the LJ Mass Effect comm:

"A fly in the lotion

From Lorik Qu'in

Commander Shepard
I've
come to have a lot of balls in flight, as you humans say. It was
brought to by attention that you're still around working on something
secret. Frankly, I hope that whatever you do keeps you far away from
Noveria this time, but if you must come back and what is it, upset the
fruit cart, let me know and I'll clear a path for you for old time's
sake.

A pleasure as always,

Lorik Qu'in Adminstrator, Port Hanshan"

I love his attempts to use human sayings

Voilà ;). AND NOW I'M GOING TO BED.

Don't be hatin' on FemShep's groove. I also thought she had some pretty saucy moves in ME1. When I saw the dance option the first time I played ME2, my reaction was kinda like this: Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

I shouldn't expected anything less after seeing the way they nerfed her body movements. Posted Image

Interesting...maybe, being avian-like in some ways (for example, it's been confirmed that turians have a structure like a gizzard), they might be able to mimic with their voiceboxes or however parrots do it?  That hadn't even occurred to me as a possibility.

I'm not sure exactly how it works with parrots. Would have to do more research.

kglaser wrote...

Yes, it would explain why they have layered voices kind of like the flanging effect on turian voices, right?

Basically, yes, though there's a bit more to that in the quarian debate.

Ah, that's okay kglaser. It's good to give a few teasers.

And if Garrus ever had his own anime series (fanart not done by me btw and you need registration to see it large, but the thumbnail will be suffice)

Flammie posted it many ages ago.  Darn these forums for not having a proper search function.  D'oh, posted.  And damn, I missed the 800 mark!  Guess I'll have to post something great at 900.

Yes, Femshep dragging Garrus onto the dancefloor for a few dances, while Garrus gives puppy-eyes to Tali sitting down to pull him out of it! :D

Thanks Cer, have a good night! And yea Ray, the search function for the forums is very fail.

Gah, honestly, I need the 25 Renegade points. It wins over the nifty email. /sigh, Ah well.

If only there was an option for my Shepard to say, "Lorik, your attempt at using human sayings correctly is adorable, but I have no idea what this means." xD

I agree that Shepard should be able to dance with his/her romantic interest again. Garrus wouldn't dance with my MainShep in ME1 (although, I spent quite some time positioning Shepard and Garrus so it looked like she was dancing for him... and he was embarrassed by it), and now he still can't dance with her in ME2. I like to think that the Flux music was because he remembered all those times she attempted to dance with him in Flux.
