I think that's supposed to be Kaidan.

I posted a vid that I don't think anyone but an ME player, and also maybe a Garrius fan would appreciate. I wish they'd let us play with just two characters if we wanted. Garrius and I wiped the floor of the galaxy together. And then partook of a little smoky smoky with some turian chicks.

Yeah, I keep a lot of saves because of this. In ME2, I had so many saves that I actually had to delete quite a few of them before the game ended. I didn't want my MainShep to accidentally get stuck in a romance with Jacob while I was waiting for Garrus' loyalty mission to become available.Nivenus wrote...
Of course, what seems like a good option at the time can get upstaged later. That happened to my main with Ashley and Tali.

My point was, in case it wasn't clear, that Tali didn't occur as an LI to me in ME1. That only happened in ME2, but when it did happen, she nabbed me (after some initial doubts) decisively. In ME1, I was perfectly content with Ashley as a LI.
Not sure if anybody had a similar experience with Kaidan and Garrus.
ME2 strongly encourage you to dump the ME1 LIs that suddenly went crazy or jerk to go for aliens or Cerberus Barbie and Ken.Nivenus wrote...
Important thing is, while Ashley's rejection definitely played into Michael Shepard's decision to go for Tali, it wasn't the sole reason or even the most important one, since there's hints of reconciliation in the email. I didn't really make up my mind until after I did Tali's loyalty mission. At that point, I decided to go through with it.

ME2 did extremely well at replicating one of my tougher relationships in real life. I felt unfairly dumped by Kaidan after Horizon and rather angry about it. Then I got his letter, could actually hear his voice while reading it, then suddenly couldn't bring myself to feel angry. And somewhat conflicted as to whether the relationship should be over. One playthrough was faithful to Kaidan, one went for Thane, one went for Garrus. There's a fourth one that plays as faithful to Kaidan, 'cause the game kinda makes the assumption if you didn't pick any of the ME2 love interests, you still have feelings for the ME1 love interest. But I hope to actually play it as breaking up with the ME1 love interest, picking up no new love interest in ME2, and being quite single going into ME3. Wonder if they developers take that into consideration.lovgreno wrote...

I realy wouldn't mind staying with Kaidan, Liara or Ashley but Garrus and Tali was just better.
