When I locked in the Garrus romance, I even left him on the Normandy when I went to talk to Liara, because I didn't know what would happen. I'm not going to give Liara a hard time about it, though. I really do like the final conversation you can have with her when she admits to giving you to Cerberus. Just wish the emotional impact of that statement wasn't preceded by her obsessive Shadow Broker scheming.

I was so glad to hear the next big DLC was not the rumored Shadow Broker/Liara DLC.

I'm excited at the prospect of future DLC being a proper gap-bridger between ME2 and ME3. This makes me think more chracter stuff and dialogue will some out, which is always good.



Overlord DLC has me super excited. I lvoed Kasumi, and this pack is a bigger mission. More missions with more story are awesome tidings! XD

True that, when I visited Illium for the first time and that asari said Liara wanted to see me, I was very curious what Liara and Garrus would say to eachother. But they completely ignored eachother. That was a big disappointment.

Huh. I hadn't thought that about how it didn't bother me that Wrex wouldn't acknowledge Garrus or Tali either. Guess I was still recovering from the sentimental crush of Wrex's "Shepard! My friend!"

Garrus: Wrex, I  - oh, you're talking to Shepard. That's OK. We'll have our moment. You wanna bro-hug? No? OK, I guess your people are watching and all... I understand. Um... so, I took a rocket to the face. Pretty impressive huh? Oh, apparently we're leaving now. But we'll definetly talk next time, right? Couple of drinks, maybe some asari strippers.... Xsause fixed that in her John Shepard fic.

But yes. That was a little harsh (epeically since on PTs above hardcore, I tend to hide from the Maw and let my team bring it down for me. lol. Shepard does not pull her weight!)

I'll bet they had too many breeding requests for Garrus to mention, and chose to hide them lest it damage the krogan morale.

Yea, like Shepard and Grunt did it together and Garrus was just waiting by the keystone until the Rite is complete. "HIT THE KEYSTONE GARRUS! WE HAVE TO HIT THE KEYSTONE!"

I was kind of peeved myself that Liara and Wrex didn't acknowledged Garrus. I hoped Wrex would make a comment, although I didn't expect Liara to, since she was so attached to Shepard (far too attached with her 'we share a bond together' after first meeting).

But I hope to actually play it as breaking up with the ME1 love interest, picking up no new love interest in ME2, and being quite single going into ME3. Don't think that's going to work. If you want to make sure that your Shepard is single in ME3, just don't romance anyone from ME1 or 2. I'm pretty sure the game will just assume you're still involved with the ME1 LI otherwise. You'll probably have the option of breaking it off in ME3, but still.

And lol, poor Garrus keeps getting ignored. I can understand that Liara wouldn't pay attention to him, as they really didn't seem like the best of friends in ME1 (or maybe it's because I've never had the 2 of them in my party...do they even have any elevator banter together?), but nothing from Wrex? That made me sad

The cupcake interlude at Tali's trial is just too cute. Although I suppose anyone you take as a 3rd squaddie to the trial sits like that?

Yep. I never noticed the other squad mate when I play her loyalty mission, they are easy to miss.
