If you miss the refuelling tanks to the top/right side of the map that will certainly get Kirrahe killed, and setting the alarm off on "the other side of the base" might get him killed.

I think Flammie came up with it. We decided he liked cupcakes... then it went somewhere horrible for a while, but now they are back, and innocent as ever!

I think the more sugary somthing is, the less likley eating it is to kill turians.

Bah, I took that thing head-on! My main FemShep (Iris) took a Cain to its ugly mug, and my MaleShep (Peter) on Insanity added a few snipes. Still gotta run Lily (Faithful to Kaidan!FemShep) through at some point, but the Cain is just too damn satisfying.

1. I don't think i let garrus killed saleaon, forgot why.
2. I didn't let him kill sidonis because sidonis was unarmed and he explained his situation to you. Even though what he did to his friends was unacceptable, killing him in that crowd would be murder. Garrus is not a murderer.
3. Since i'm a male it would seem kind of weird to say yes, i liked tali and miranda as a romance. But i don't know i think he would have been one of the best romance LIs out there if they didn't half ass his dialouge between shepard and himself.
4. I rented it with a friend since we were bored.....the best rent i have ever did.
5. At first i thought him being a romance option was incredibly awkward, but then i slowly changed my mind.
6. Not really...its was going to happen eventually. I was incredibly happy and suprised to see him in me2 though. One of my favorite characters.
7. I would give him the adrenaline power, maybe while he does it he can dodge bullets with ease, and then shoot people easily.
8. He is neither, batman and garrus kind of have the same personality, but garrus kills people. Punisher is just a insane maniac willing to kill anyone that pisses him off. Garrus is the guy in the middle.
9. My shepard is paragade.
10. Garrus would most likely choose kaidan, despite ashley being a racist they might of had some interesting convos with each other.
11. Me1: Garrus and Wrex
ME2: Garrus and Kasumi (Thane too)
12. Yes i did, but i took him to the final fight, knew i could count on him to save my ass, and then happily returned the favor...and then he happily returned the favor right back

1. Stopped Garrus from killing Saleon, he dies anyways so yeah.
2. Stopped Garrus from killing Sidonis.
3. Garrus is my favorite love interest for females, for males Liara's my favorite. I like Garrus more though.
4. I started checking out videos about ME1, I didn't buy it until one year after it came out, I wish I had bought it sooner though. It took me a long time to decide to buy the game.
5. In ME1 I really didn't care about most romannces at first. I really didn't care who was or wasn't romanceable though, it's all the same to me. However I'm glad he got made into a romance option, Garrus' romance is very interesting and probably the best out of the ME2 romances.
6. No, I knew lots of people wanted him as a romnace and I had been hearing all kinds of rumors.
7. I would give Garrus biotics if I could. That would make him even more awesome.
8. I think he's a combination of both, he's not Batman because Batman never had a desire to take revenge unlike Garrus did at least not when Bruce Wayne became batman. The Punisher however did want revenge.
9. My Shepards are all paragons.
10. Kaidan, Ashley has some strange ideas about aliens, plus Kaidan's a tech and a biotic which personally I find way more valuable that some soldier.
11. In ME1 it was Garrus and Wrex or Garrus and Tali. In ME2 it's Garrus and Mordin or Garrus and Samara.
12. I have put him in charge of leading the team, unfortunately that doesn't let my Shepard catch him at the end game so it might not happen for sometime.

I read about it, and the idea of so many choices, and being able to play the game differently each time, was what interested me. Now the Mass Effect games are my favorite games of all time.

I don't remember which powers he had in ME1 as compared to ME2... but I know there were more in ME1. Maybe one of those? I thought his powers in ME2 were fine though. I used them a lot.

I wouldn't know. I've never watched Batman, so I don't know much about it, and I've only heard of the Punisher here in the Garrus thread.

I think he would choose whoever was protecting the nuke. In my games, that usually Kaidan.

In ME1, it was almost always Garrus and Wrex. In ME2, it switched between Garrus and Tali, Garrus and Grunt, and Garrus and Thane.

Dr. Heart didn't make it.  Garrus put him down.  It just took a few years for the bullet to catch up with him.  Killing him made finding the evidence of his crimes to that DAY all the more interesting, in that that blood is on C-Secs hands.

2. What did you do with Sidonis and why?
After drawing out the story from Sidonis, Garrus gave him what he wanted: oblivion.  I didn't want him to just shoot Sid, as much as he might have deserved.  I wanted Garrus to do two things:  Make sure this is the choice he wanted, and to do right by his men.  As someone who doesn't balk at CP, I was pretty satisfied with his choice.  (Renegaaaaaaaaaaaaaade! XD)

3. Is Garrus your favorite romance interest of all time? If not, who is?
Yoooooooooooou bet he is!  In alternate moods, Kaiden and Thane are pretty interesting, but for my main Shep?  Garrus, all the way.

4. How did you first get into ME1 (assuming you played ME1)?
Heard through some friends that it was fun, and we just bought an Xbox 360 to play it and Assassin's Creed.  Best.  Purchase.  EVER.

5. In ME1, did you wish Garrus was a romance option? Did you think he would be when you playing ME1?
I didn't know anything about "romancing" characters.  I knew very little about the game, and really, was so used to JRPG's approaches to things, I didn't really get this whole, talk to your party, get XP, and hey!  They might actually start to like you /love blooms.  When Liara started laying it on heavy to my very first Shepard I was like HOLY CRAP ROMANCE?!  But I was pretty bummed that Garrus wasn't an option.  

6. Were you surprised when you heard or found out that Garrus was a
romance option?
It had been over 2 years since ME1 was played and done for me.  I had just barely remembered that ME2 was coming out, but once I bought Dragon Age, it all came back to me.  I hadn't looked at any trailers, the commercials on TV were enough to wet my appetite.  Hell, I thought Thane was some sort of weird Asari/Turian/Salarian hybrid...  So when I first saw that Garrus was BACK in ME2 (Archangel /swoon) I did the only spoiler thing I could:  Google searched to see if he was romanceable. 
The squee was epic.

7. If you could give Garrus another power, what would it be? Make sure it's within the realm of possibility.
I can't come up with anything other than the power to pop Shepard's armor locks with his MIND.

Actually, as funny as it is to call him turian Batman... I don't think he's like either.  Batman has too much baggage, and while sure he had the "takes the law into his own hands for justice" type deal... Garrus is just a good guy, working for justice, but in an imperfect world.  It'll take me a bit to really put down to thought what other character I can relate him to, so Batman does good in a pinch.
And after reading the Punisher MAX stuff... and not being able to finish it yet because JESUS H CHRIST it's brutal... I'd have to say Samara and the Punisher share his and her towels...

9. Is your Shepard paragon or renegade? Or perhaps Paragade, Neutral, or Renegon?
Renegade.  Technically, she's probably a Renegon, but not really.  She's of the doctrine of tough love, but she's not a xenophobe, she's not an ass to her crew unless they need it (though she's a sarcastic f!ck), she's not genocidal, but for the most part, she shoots first and asks questions later.  And she doesn't like the Council.  At. All.  And really in either iteration.

10. If Garrus had been the one to choose who save on Virmire, who do you
think he would choose?
I think whoever was left with Kirrahe would be left to die... I don't think Ash or Kaiden's personalities matter to him.  The bomb going off would have been what got the job done.  And whoever was with Cpt. K knew the risks.  It's part of being a soldier.  I do think he might have had more reason to get to know Ash than Kaiden, since they had access to each other.  And while Ash is probably much more xenophobic, I don't think Garrus would think that because of that, she'd deserve to die.  Kaiden also had issues in his past with a turian, but even he just saw Vernus as a "man" in the end, and not what his race is.  So while I don't think they'd all be BFFs, it's whoever got stuck where that I think would make him choose.

11. What's your typical team layout? Garrus and who else?
In ME1, it's my Vanguard, Garrus the Inflitrator, and Kaiden the Sentinel.  I like that it balances the team.  Tech/Combat/Biotics are all balanced.
In ME2, it doesn't really matter who the third person is, but I usually keep a sniper there.  So either Zaeed, Thane or Legion.  Otherwise, Mordin.  There's no rhyme or reason to it, because I usually don't play higher than Hardcore XD

12. Did you make Garrus team leader in the suicide mission?
YES.
I saw this as a perfect opportunity to cinch his loyalty, and his healing really.  He's a GOOD leader.  Good leaders will make mistakes, but that doesn't invalidate everything else you've ever done in your life.  Sole Survivor Shepard has that to show him, and by giving him Fire Team lead in the SM, you've got a chance to do just that.

Xsauce, you should try to write a fanfic with Garrus, Shepard, Thane, Kaidan, and Wrex and try to remake "The Hangover" but it takes place on omega or illium.

My typical? Tali and a mission specific for the most part. I generally alway take either Garrus or Zaeed when fighting MErcs however.

1. let garrus kill him, because lets face it they both deserved it.
2. let him tell his story then let garrus have his revenge. um... because... well thats the way i wanted to do it, and after you hear his story its more like a mercy kill, and garrus got what he wanted.
3. no its tali, but for my only femshep run so far i had to go for garrus.
4. saw the trailers and thought it was awesome. it was one of the two games i bought at the same time as my 360. (other was halo 3)
5. no i didn't and i didnt think he would be.
6. no not really surprised.
7. instead of AP rounds? um....i'd get him a widow. those things are badass.
8. on his loyalty mission he's the punisher but otherwise i'd say neither. maybe john clark. (Tom Clancey's character probably best known as rainbow six)
9. i guess paragade by which i mean mostly paragon but sometimes i need to go renegade.
10.who would he replace? ashley or kaidan? regardless i'd still pick him i guess.
11. i like to bring garrus and tali just because they're old friends. (though for tough missions you gotta specialize)
12. the first time. i knew he'd get us through because he had such awesome tactics with his team before sidonis betrayed him and i knew nobody was going to deo that this time. (the second was zaeed who was the only one i ended up losing at least he didnt get someone else killed too.)

Crap I gotta de-lurk to comment on this.  This brings back good memories!  Day of the Tentacle was the first PC game I owned and I played the hell out of it (at the ripe old age of ten.)  After that I inherited Phantasmagoria from my brother and it was all downhill from there.

So, Garrus.

Let Garrus kill Saleon.  Why?  It's what my Shepard would have done.

After exploring all the options,  now I let Garrus take the shot after letting Sidonis explain what happened to him.  It seems the best paragade way to take care of the situation since Garrus gets closure by killing Sidonis but he still gets to hear Sidonis' side of the story and both seem to find closure in the outcome.  "No more bad dreams..."

3. Is Garrus your favorite romance interest of all time? If not, who is?
Garrus is my personal favorite romance, however he is not always the 'best fit' for the Shepard I'm roleplaying.  My canon Shep romanced Kaidan then *cough* jacob for RP reasons.  Jacobmance has its moments /puts up flameshield.  Garrus is still that Shep's closest friend and ally.

4. How did you first get into ME1 (assuming you played ME1)?
I wish I could remember.  I think I just read a review and bought it, then became completely obsessed.  Three years later...here I am.

5. In ME1, did you wish Garrus was a romance option? Did you think he
would be when you playing ME1?
I personally did not wish he was a romance option and didn't think he would ever be (I have since changed my tune of course.)  Garrus got a massive infusion of badass in the second game and I'm not ashamed to say I like him a lot more now.

6. Were you surprised when you heard or found out that Garrus was a
romance option?
Yes x 1000.  I wasn't against it, I just didn't think Bioware would do it.

7. If you could give Garrus another power, what would it be? Make sure
it's within the realm of possibility.
Tactical cloak plus close range attack kind of like Kasumi's Shadow Strike except Garrus gets to use some of that hand to hand combat training.

8. Is Garrus more like Batman or the Punisher?
Paragon Garrus=Batman Renegade Garrus=Punisher

9. Is your Shepard paragon or renegade? Or perhaps Paragade, Neutral, or
Renegon?
70% paragon 30% renegade

10. If Garrus had been the one to choose who save on Virmire, who do you
think he would choose?
Kaidan, he's a higher ranking officer and has useful tech and biotics.  I don't think Garrus was personally closer to one over the other so that would be a tipping point.  I could see him having more in common with Kaidan I guess.  They could talk about omnitools.  That sounds horrible actually.

11. What's your typical team layout? Garrus and who else?
I rotate my squaddies quite a bit.

12. Did you make Garrus team leader in the suicide mission?
Every time.
