I haven't had enough skill with the combat system until now, but when I was playing just an hour ago, my Vanguard lifted a husk and prepared to shoot it, and then either Garrus or Tali stole his kill. xD This Shepard might be a little too reckless if he got to call the shots though. "I'll take everything on this side of the room! You guys have fun over there."

I'd actually like to see more missions where Shepard can use the whole team, like the suicide mission, but without the squadmates dying. (Or, if there were some missions where they could die, I wouldn't mind it if it was about as easy to keep people alive in the suicide mission - all can survive, some die if you don't make the right choices, etc.)

The only sort of personal thing I think might come from him is he mentioned a locket his mother gave him which he lost (the rule of Checkov's gun mandates I find it for him at some point, right?) I already finished DA:O, but I finally bought the game today . It was a lot cheaper now so I could afford it :happy:.

I tried to be evil with a dwarf, but I always fail at being an ass. In DA:O it's even worse with the (dis)approval system. I just can't be mean . I intimidated the priest, and even though I get sick of "Maker this, Maker that" I still felt bad. And Alistair disapproved a lot hahaha.

If I could take 3 squadmembers with me in ME, I would take Garrus, Grunt and Mordin. Comedy night!

I'd try out Thane's romance, it is sad, but also quite sweet.



I loved the sniper so much on my infiltrator, and then the Widow? My god, I did a second infiltrator playthrough (Newgame+ hardcore, auuugh that was a pain! Hardcore was the difficulty right before insanity, ya?) right after.



I usually leave Garrus on AR, and Thane on Sniper.. When I had Garrus on Sniper, it just didn't seem to go very well. Do you guys leave Garrus on sniper all the time? I also like the one sniper, one AR, and me (Shotgun or sniper) setup, although once I did Suicide run with Widow me/Legion, and Thane. That was a lark!



Also dudes, stop making me waste Widow ammo on a mob you nearly killed, then ignore! Haha

I still love the Garrus/Tali combo in ME1 when fighting synthetics...constant blinding epic explosions make me so fulfilled.

I must suck using Tali, she likes to charge and die a lot, and man.. Doing her LM can be such a drag at some points. The part with the gunbattle on the stairs, and the medical lab battle.. I even tried upgrading the AI control talent.. and still, pain!

I just remember her being really good with the shotgun in ME1 on one of those 4 planets where you need to kill geth to get her data. I remember thinking she was unstoppable. Of course, I spent every cent on Garrus's sniper rifle being the most bleeding-edge with the best upgrades, but I took Tali a lot of places and I got her a killer shotgun. Maybe that made a diferrence.

do you give move orders at all? I nevre have problems that much with tali. Do yo uhave the Evis on her?

Me too Mr.  I didn't seem to have any use for half my team members.  When it wasn't Wrex and Garrus for me (and they had at least 3 awesome elevator convos too), Tali was there somewhere.  This time I'm going for quarian sympathizer so she's going to be glued to me instead of Wrex but that's all right.  She's a great squaddie.  I just wish she would say those Chiktikka lines in ME1.  LOL

i need to replay me1 with tali in it. Like i said i barely switched out garrus or wrex because...well yeah. its going to be hard to replace wrex with tali, but i just want to see what would happen.

My main Shep's an Infiltrator too, I imagine her getting Garrus, Thane and Legion together to go out for a Sniper Party, one with the least head shots buys the others drinks XP

I usually try and tell them where to go, but after having them decide that they would rather GO SOMEWHERE ELSE after that, I just give up sometimes.. And take the "Well, I won't have to worry about it if it's dead!". Her LM gives me the most issue, along with Legions' sometimes. Maybe I just do poorly against synthetics.. Ha.



I did end up using Tali at the end of ME1, along with Garrus. Didn't have much of a problem there. I was a Vanguard in ME1 (And decided that I WOULD PISTOL THEM ALL), but are shotguns really that godly in ME1? Haha



I do like how I can sort of let some team members 'float', and they'll generally take care of themselves.. Until I ask them to stay in one spot, and they decide to charge on up (Then I heard about how they always want to take cover ahead of you, so with that in mind.. a bit easier)

Hey, at least he got my vote, I don't really care if he wins or not.  I can't let polls get me down or I take it all personal-like.  I just thought the icing and calibration comment was funny.

I don't know who else I could use.The only other characters that I like a lot are Grunt, Mordin and Jacob (yeah I like him just not his romance). Any ideas on who to use aside from those? I want some variety.

Do you have Kasumi?  Her Shadow Strike is quite useful actually and her banter is kind of witty at times.

i just found out at the suicide mission that kasumi and thane (both loyal) make an incredibly kick ass team. I tried garrus and kasumi for the final boss but it wasn't as efficient as thane and kasumi. I'm going to try to see what garrus and thane would be like.

Jacob gives me THE BEST deaths on his LM.. "Oh hey, i'm going to bumrish foward to those 4 hunters and... Damnit, i'm dead". Oh Jacob and your suicidal tendencies.
      I usually just roll with Thane and Garrus, or LI and a character i'd like to hear the voice clips on.
I'm sure you can guess who I'd take! Thane always seems to do really well when I take him, and the warp is handy stuff indeed.
    
I also like taking Mordin for his quips+Incinerate, and well, there's not much else other than that. I usually don't take Jack, Tali or Jacob with me anywhere (I never have much luck with the shotgun characters.. ). Oh Zaeed, you're so great, but I just love punching you on your LM, even when decide to be evil (/remove a major threat from everyone) and go after Vido.

Edit: I forgot about Kasumi. She seems pretty solid, too.. But i've YEt to play with her outside of her LM, since I haven't really played since getting Kasumi and finishing my current playthroughs suicide mission.

Kasumi works for just about anyone I think. Tali works great against Mercs and Geth. Drones work wonders digging peeps out of cover. I generally seem to leave out Biotics with my main shep. AS you fight so much shield protected Mercs all the time it's better to have techs with you. But Miri comes in loads useful because she has power that strip all defenses.

I always bring Miri on the final boss fight to hear her resign from Cerberus when I tell TIM to f off.

And I love listening to Garrus's comments while he's leading the Fire Teams. He sounds like he's having the time of his life.

I always make a point to try and listen to his comments there KG, but I always forget to/get distracted. Siiigh.

Also, I just discovered how bloody awesome the ME1 credits soundtrack is.
