I always make a point to try and listen to his comments there KG, but I always forget to/get distracted. Siiigh.

Also, I just discovered how bloody awesome the ME1 credits soundtrack is.

Yeah, I listened to that song 3x running. LOL  It's VERY catchy, isn't it?
And Garrus just sounds so happy, yelling things like "PERFECT!"  I feel jealous I can't be by his side then. "Hey you're having all the fun putting holes in peoples heads...without *me*! no fair!" :P

Oh yes, I know what you mean. So so catchy, and then I looked up the lyrics, how interesting. MAYBE THAT'S WHY the ME1 romances cling on so hard! hehe.

Man, I should really pay attention to that sometime! That, or I just totally believe he'll be fine!

....Ooor I'm listening to the biotic bubble soundtrack /cough.

The music in ME2 was really well-done.

Oh, ME1 had some fun soundtracks too (Hello credits song!). I just cant think of much of the ME music at all. Some of the battle tracks were just great though.

ME1's soundtrack was good. I liked especially the Noveria, Presidium, Wards, and Credits theme.

I LOVE the presidium theme...just sort of has that...sci-fi drama feel to it.

As a whole I think ME2's soundtrack was better, though. There were a few annoying tracks in ME1.

They didn't mess up the music in either one, IMHO. However, the lighting is LOADS better in ME2 I thought. I could actually see people! (although there are still some unfortunate lighting moments in the second where people look like a corpse or somesuch)
At least it was easier to see Garrus than in 1. the screenshots I've seen of him working on the Mako in 1 make it really hard to see any detail of what is in the picture.

eta:  I always liked that opening music from ME1 where you load your game.  Also the one where you're reading planetary info (are they the same song?? can't recall...)

The sound engine in ME1 was very flawed. Half of the time I couldn't hear what any NPCs were saying unless I rotated the camera (which doesn't make sense).

You sure have a point.  I'm replaying it now and at times the sound will fade out infuriatingly and then back in later.  Maybe they used "brushes" (I'm a complete idiot about game design or level modding and I'm sure I sound like it, but back in the day when I played with the Thief level editor you had to put a "sound brush" around the area, maybe they messed that up).  Anyway it's better in 2.

eta: Mr., I was on Xbox360 and I got the sound fadeout.

The best song on the ME1 soundtrack was Spectre Induction for me. I love it so much! I even used that song to make a vid for my dead kittehs last year :(.

My favourite on the ME2 soundtrack is Samara's song. Oops, am I speaking blasphemy now? I like Garrus' theme too, but Samara's is just awesome. *runs away and hides in her bed*

Goodnight ;)

And Garrus

Oh, I love Samara's theme a whole bunch too Cery. I also like the Garrus theme, and Thane's. All of the themes are nice. Jack's fighting theme is one of my favorites.

The thing I love about Samara's song is that it has an eastern touch to it. It's very different, but I really like it that way.

The first three notes in Garrus' song are enough to make me happy. I was sleeping on a Saturday and my brother was playing ME2. I woke up because I heard those three notes, jumped out of bed to run to the living room and watched my brother recruit Garrus XD.

I'm happy it made you smile, because it was very special. I have this bad habit of hitting the snooze button on my alarm clock until it eventually stops ringing again, which always makes me oversleep... But those three notes, BANG, completely awake. Garrus has some magical powers!

I'm also veeery grumpy when someone wakes me up, but I'm sure if someone wakes me by throwing a can of Mountain Dew against my head, I would wake up with a giant smile on my face. Long live the power of Garrus :wizard:

All this talk about waking up... I'm going to sleep. Really. I know I always say that and then end up sticking around for longer, but really. I'm out :P

I know you're in bed by now (YEAH...RIGHT.  And you have a bridge to sell, I expect. :P  )
But I think you should buy an alarm clock that just plays those first 3 notes.  Then you would have no need for snooze.
I think I would need something more threatening.  Maybe like when I hit snooze Samara threateningly saying "You will regret your choice." LMAO :D

My Vanguard's shotgun is awesome. :D Best Spectre gear credits can buy, High Explosive Rounds (IX or X, don't remember) - the first time I tried it out, it blew some crates back and set geth on fire. VanguardShep gets a lot of one-shot kills with it, but I am playing on Casual, so I don't know how much different it would be on higher difficulties. It gets overheated with every shot, but I just use biotics during that time anyway.

I was having trouble using Tali in combat too... It's fine in ME1, I think I'm having trouble in ME2 because a lot of her ME1 powers aren't there. Any advice? My Vanguard is going to bring her everywhere when he gets imported, and even though it's easy enough to get by on Casual, it would still be nice to know.

I liked the ME1 credits song too. :) I'm going to look it up now.

I have the same problem (playing on Xbox). For me at least, it gets better when I turn the camera to the left. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with turing it towards the character who's talking, and that doesn't make sense either. xD

What kasumi says about garrus, looked this up on masswiki.

If Shepard romances Garrus, Kasumi says that he has a crush on her, but that she can never really tell with turians. She advises you to "go for it" and that "a lot of people would like to see you together".

After consummating a romance with Garrus, Kasumi mentions someone seeing Garrus heading to Shepard's quarters with a bottle of champagne. She says that she is happy for the two and that it's "not often you find something good in a galaxy like this".

I wonder what made her think that garrus has a crush on shepard. He usually isn't an outgoing type of person, unless he might of brought it up somehow with a couple of people. Or maybe she is a stalker type and overheard him talking to himself.

I really love the music on Mordin's mission. The distant saxophone makes it all skeezy and noir. Garrus's music has a nice eerie foreboding. Who is that deadly sniper whose line of fire you are slowly approaching???

Those pauses in Garrus and Shepard's conversations are when they think they can hear popcorn being eaten very closeby.

Haha, that's super Joel. Perhaps she just talks to them, and they let it slip? Or she just observes others conversations.. She does mention Thane in a similar way "Those big black eyes of his go a-flutter when talks about you" (Which makes me laugh.. WHAT ARE YOU RELIVING THANE).

That or they love to mess with us and break our brains!

Edit: Ah, that was a Theme i've yet to recover, Mordins. It is also a good one.
