Dredging up the previous topic of conversation (that was had while I was blissfully unconscious, aka sleeping):

It's a capital punishment argument. It's going to be hotly debated, regardless of which side of the morality you play. I'm just surprised it too you guys three pages of discussion to say it

And while all of that was wonderfully put out in excruciating detail as to why you'd be an evil person to let Garrus kill Sid, /shrug I do it. Every time.

I don't let him do it until Sid's explained the whole thing (which BTW Coll, Sid never mentions anything about a family, it's just him. "They got to me." That's all he says.) but I still let him do right by his whole team. The ten men who are dead have their killer brought to justice, and the last man asks for oblivion, and gets it.

Because no where in the conversation does Sidonus say what he did was wrong, I don't think he's redeemable.

But, that's just my opinion.

As for Garrus going off the deep end, eh... I can and can't see it. I mean, if you play straight Renegade, the galaxy hasn't b!tchslapped Shepard back into oblivion for all s/he's done, so I don't think the same would happen for him. But I don't want to speculate too far ahead. Simply 'cause I'd like to be surprised with what BW does.

They've so far no screwed up any character I've seen so far (and before any Liara/Kaiden/Ash-ites scream foul, wait a tic) so the end of this trilogy should be epic in the extreme.

Though I agree with Raga: if all we get for Gar is a DLC and then sweeping changes come in ME3.... /foamyrage

And I've finally started the Garrus romance! (have been trying to ignore the previous pages so I don't get any spoilers) Reach and flexibility... to relieve stress *cough*. That was such a pick-up line from Garrus' part, but he was genuinely shocked when Shepard pulled the "let's do it". Poor Garrus couldn't read how humans would interpret things, never knowing how humans are very daring. 

Which asks the question, does Garrus even release that he flirts with Shepard? I mean, even before I started the Garrus romance, I found that he flirts with you at the beginning.

"Some women find facial scars attractive (do you think so?). Mind you, most of those women are krogan (maybe you could be in the minority of other women who likes scars )"

Garrus slash is...eww, then again most character slash is since it warps their personalities to a point of where it ain't the same character we came to know and love (or hate).

Yeah, I found those lines flirty too. But then again, I also found that he was being flirty during his recruitment when he goes "but please...it's just Garrus to you". Of course, he says the exact same thing to MaleShep, but it just had that little extra flavour with a FemShep.

As for Garrus' reaction to Shepard's come-on, when he realizes that that's what it is: yeah, he's shocked...for all of 5 seconds. It made me grin how he was totally on board with the idea afterwards. The "why the hell not?" and his half-purred "definitely" just had me mentally going "eeeee!"

I think he might've been jokingly flirty at the start, with the scar comment, never actually thinking that she'd take it seriously, or that he'd seriously consider it, for that matter. But then later, she did, and he was like "whoa!...heeeey, now that you mention it..."

No, he doesnt say "What I did was wrong". You have to read between the lines. He says "I know what I did. I know they died because of me, and I have to live with that" which results in a major depressive episode. He has nightmares, food doesn't taste good anymore, wants to die. Someone who has no problem with what he's done don't experience this. I can almost diagnose him with PTSD.

But yeah, long live opinions. I can't believe I'm still going on about this

What garrus says to male shepard is interpreted as best friends/bros joking around. Around femshep it can be interpreted as flirting.

On a completely different topic: there's a thread where people are trying to make the worst possible file to carry over into ME3. To give you an idea, the OP's result was: entire crew dead, Morinth and Kasumi only survivors (ie. 2 of the least likely to return for ME3). Someone told the OP that he/she should get an "Epic Fail" message in ME3 for carrying that file over. The third post down is the OP's interpretation of said "Epic Fail" message:
