I agree with that. What garrus says to male shepard is interpreted as best friends/bros joking around. Around femshep it can be interpreted as flirting.
I have a final in less than two hours.so good morning guys, hows everything going? We are really hauling ass in this thread aren't we?
You have finals? i still have a month of school left ahhh. I cannot wait to graduate high school because its just plain ridiculous at this moment. I don't even know why i bother to go to that school anymore.
But you know what garrus says "Stay hydrated"
Wait...that wouldn't fit well with that.

That's exactly what should happen. Killed off Garrus? The game gives you the finger and refuses to work.
Garrus can't get killed off. It would be like dividing by zero but cause an unstopable time loop like from ME paint adventures. This is what happened after garrus blocked a missile with his face.
Angel: My Lord, garrus has taken a missile to the face. His wounds are grave and he will likely suffocate in his own blood.
God: Oh my F***ing Me! You remember the last time someone as badass as garrus died on Earth? It caused a massive flood. Quick someone send one of my archangels and make a miracle happen!

High school? Correct me if I'm wrong (I don't know **** about school systems in other countries), but does that mean you're pretty young?

Which, by the way... isn't easy to do with one recording of the same line.

But fun as all get out.
Good luck on your final Coll!
Blaze, I'm confused -.-
And huh... I wonder how many humans Garrus had on his squad. We know of at least one, Butler, because his wife writes like a human (husband/God are two terms I don't think any other race would use.)
Considering he had a ragtag bunch, do you think he'd have more or less of one species in his squad? You got 11 slots, and we know of three of them: the Batarian specialist, the Salarian, Sid, and Butler's hub (human). Am I missing any?

Goes without saying.
Though I'm a little squidged at the prospect of him sounding flirty with his squad still in body bags nearby....

Well, the batarian and salarian were remarkable enough to be mentioned. I think the rest were human or turian. Maybe an asari too?
And uhm, well, good luck to anyone who have finals/will ever graduate

Well, it's probably just a measure of his spirit then. Even in during the worst time of his life, he can still look at himself and laugh? XD
Or maybe it's just unconscious. It's just him. That type of thing. Too tired to put up the barrier, too close to death to really care. I mean, I really think he thought he was a dead man(turian, whatever) when all the merc groups went apesh!t on him, so to see Shepard coming in at the last moment? Little bit of hope wiggles in? That sorta thing.
Aaaaand it's time for me to clean the living room, this place has been neglected far too long.
Luck to you school peeps, I'm excited for the Fall, when I'll be rejoining the ranks of the "going into debt for the sake of a piece of paper that says I can do the job I've been doing for the past 8 years."

Y'know, that's the second time I hear about those body bags, but in 2 playthroughs, I've not noticed them...I must be blind. Where are they?
@ Cerrydd: Bachelor thesis? How does that work? I always thought thesis = PhD.
I had to write a dissertation for my MSc, but that's certainly not a thesis...

They're scattered all over the complex, but hard to catch sometimes, since they blend in with the floor. I know there's a few upstairs where you talk to Garrus, and I think one or two in his "room" which I think has been kind of established as his since it had a bed by itself (though I still think Turians don't have similar beds to humans, but meh! Could be the artists didn't think that far ahead.)

There's the 2 in the 'master bedroon' and I think 2 or 4 in the room he's sniping from. I've thought about running around in there and counting them up, see if they got it right....yeah, that's pretty morbid. I know. I'm strangely impressed they thought to even put that kind of detail in, though. Not something I noticed until my 3rd PT.

Uhh, we call it a thesis, lol. Don't know if it's much different over here. In my case, the bachelor period lasts 3 years, ending with the bachelor thesis (research report), based on the research I'm doing now. When it's all good, I'll be Bachelor of Science (BSc). Then I'll do a master study, also ending with a thesis based on another research, and then I'll become Master of Science (MSc). PhD is a title you get when you are promoted, or something. I haven't read much into it. I'm just living day by day
And not a day goes by that I don't read the Garrus thread. See how I made this post Garrus-related in a sneaky way?

Yeah... in Meghan's fic, I just went with him being too tired/distracted/wierded out by a dead woman to pay much attention to what he was saying. So I prefer your explanation.
Still squicky, though. Not that I'd have him change.

Wow, I can't believe I never noticed...But I guess, my first time through, I was too "whee! Garrus <3" to notice, and on the second one (Insanity) I was too busy thinking "how the hell am I ever gonna make it to those shutters with just Miranda?" I somehow did, but then Garrus went and died RIGHT before the gunship...needless to say that was a very "NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" moment...but I digress.
Yeah, the body bags just add a complete new layer of "depressing" to the whole mission...I guess he's not being flirty then. Just a mix of relieved and a wee bit hopeful that maybe, just maybe, things might be starting to look up.
@ Cerrydd: Well, that sounds about right. I studied in the UK, and it's also 3-4 years for a BA/BSc then 1-2 years for an MA/MSc. Then you get 4 years for DPhil (the UK equivalent of a PhD). But there aren't any bachelor theses. Just the disso for the MA/MSc. What's your BSc in?
