Hardcore was incredibly easy for me when i use garrus and miranda. Those two are life savers. So is thane and kasumi, Garrus and kasumi, finally thane and garrus.

I usually stick with Thane/Garrus or Miranda/Garrus on Hardcore+. Horizon doesn't get that bad until the Praetorian (sp?) comes along and Garrus faints every ten seconds when I tell him to bolt it.

I'm currently using the Scientist Salarian because 1)I hate using Miranda and 2) I Mordin. I know there's like power teams for each mission, buuuuuuuuut honestly, I'm just doing what I can with who I got.

Going to Illum to get Thane now that Horizon is outta the way. XD

The hardest part for me was actually the beginning. Getting swarmed by armor'd husks and having two Scions makes things painful T.T

And I'm debating whether or not to change my custom avatar to Garrus. I'm so conflicted, since I do like this one of Leah Shepard, but I like the Garrus one too. Ahh, I don't know what to do.

The husks are such a pain in the arse because they flank you with horrible speed and cunning.  Bah, it's so embarrassing, dying from *husks*.  But that's what happened to me, more than once too.  They reminded me of the geth infiltrators (is that the name I'm looking for?) from the Therum mission in ME1.  Before you know it, they are all in your face.  GAH

I usually start running around the place, letting Garrus or who was in my team at the time to be fodder. But at times they do overwhelm me, especially at the Reaper core. I learned later to bring Thane/Mordin or Samara/Mordin since Samara/Thane can use throw to throw them off the edge while Mordin incinerate their armour.

Yeah, I think I'll stick with my Leah one for now. I've already uploaded it, and it's been sitting there for a week now.

Too bad Garrus couldn't join in for some brandy with Shepard and Chakwas.

That makes me wonder, how do turians drink, since they don't have the same lips that humans do? I mean, their mouths don't even close all the way, right? Wouldn't it get messy?

Or is that what the beer straws on his DLC armor are for?

Yeah, I wonder about that too, since I noticed gaps where Garrus' teeth show. He could drink, but he'll have to take it like shots.

Now that would be annoying, except for vodka shots day

I love Garrus(obviously) but I happen to be very fond of my Shep pic. XD Even if my Main!Shep doesn't look like that anymore. Hahah. (I replay my Main!Shep like whoa... new classes, etc. Though I rarely use the NG+... I just reimport. Eheh. I have 2 ME1 Imports. My Main!Single Paragon!Shep and my Secondary!Kaidan Paragrade!Shep(who dumped him for Thane and Garrus on different playthroughs).



I've played Insanity with my Infiltrator!Main and Garrus was always a long. I forgot to change it off that and just now realized that I'm playing Insanity with my new Sentinal!Main(who is going to romance Thane... just cuz.) and I'm taking Thane with me everywhere and trying to vary the other team members up a bit.



On a rather naughty note: I've found a little erm... hack that lets me use full Soldier loadout on any class... and allow my teammates to use the Special weapons. Watching Thane and Garrus running around with the Widow makes my day. Esp when I restrict myself to never using it... (Yeah, sure, I'm 'cheating' but I constrict myself with my own rules instead.) I think Garrus really loves that Widow. XD



And lastly.... Just because I got the news today, my last full day at my crappy job before starting my new awesome one Monday.... I got approved for my new place! No more apartments for meeeee! /glees out

Yeah, it is interesting with Garrus' teeth. But I do wonder how he chews without the food coming out.

And I gave Garrus the widow using the cheat, like that lithograph pic of him. But I do wonder why couldn't Garrus wield it? I thought turians were slightly stronger than humans (with the exception of Shepard).

I dunno. They can't use straws. No way to create a seal for suction. Unless the mandibles are more flexible than portrayed in the game and they can create a seal that way.

Thanks, all. And yeah, my previous situation sucked to all hell and gone. Thankfully, after I pop in tomorrow and help them out with the evil Friday rush before giving them my keys... I will be FREE. And come Monday, I sign the lease on the new house and have a week to slowly and sanely move all of my stuff. Allowing the companies time to get my Internet and utilities set up there so I don't miss out on anything. PLANNING.



I swear I'm going to save up and buy a bottle of the Garrus wine once everything is all settled.



The hack(messing with the .ini file...) is totally naughty. I mean, I can have infinite ammo, the Cain using only ONE heavy ammo instead of the 100+% it normally needs, etc etc. It does kind of make the game a cakewalk. However, I feel that I can do that now as I have played it, fair and square, over 7 times now... and once on Insanity. So... time to cheat away! Besides, my sniper boys deserve some Widow lovin', too. (My Infilitrator is my MAIN!Shep and her Widow gets a pillow and blankie of its own in her room... She totally offers to let Garrus' gun snuggle up to her's... provided the wielder is doing the same to her. Hehe.)

Yeah, I loved that Widow.. Having three people with it? Insanity! But I do agree, after playing through it so many times normally, why not have a little game breaking fun? Now you can actually use the cain!
