Turians probably drink the same way humans do. They just have to pour it down straight and not slush it across their mouths so the liquids stay inside.

The Mass Effect 2 facebook page updated with this link. It's an interview with the composers of the ME2 soundtrack, pretty interesting. Garrus related quote:

For the character themes, could you
explain how you went about associating certain motifs with certain
characters? Did the team have access to the character "profiles" for
this?

David: The team at BioWare prepared a very detailed, in-depth
character analysis for all of us. We also had some history of the
characters dating back to Mass Effect 1. We all had many
conversations with Jack about this, and he was very open to our
exploring the complexities of each character. In fact, it was one of our
mandates to create a dynamic score that expressed a wide range of
emotions. For "Garrus," I chose to concentrate on a deep rooted
emotional element that we're not used to seeing from him. His theme,
even when combined with combat material, has a tinge of emotion, because
at Garrus's core, he doesn't want to have to go to battle, he's fighting because of
the injustice he is seeing.

Very detailed in-depth character analysis? DO WANT! :P

From the same article:

OCR Staff: Okay, we have to ask: How much alien sex did you study & analyze - professionally and scientifically, of course - as part of the creative process? Did it ever feel awkward composing music intended as the background for inter-species coupling?

Jack: Man, you should have seen how much of that they PLANNED to do but never made it into the game! I was really looking forward to scoring that! :) But no, the furthest we ever really got was "Reflections". A nice track to be sure, but I had more in my head. :)

And just to keep this Garrus--or at least turian-related, here's a doodle I did today. It's not completely finished, and I still intend to color it, but I think it's coming along quite nicely so far.

Yeah, I saw that part too, but I didn't know if he was joking or not.

But if they really planned a lot more.. why do we only get a headbump? It's a cute headbump, sure, but..butbutbut...

Huh......Casey's comments have got me all hopeful for moar Garrus in ME3, and now guys mentioning how there might have been some actual xenophilic shenanigans....

^ Righto, Cerrydd. Even the Talimancers got a little caressing/bedjumping action. I've seen comments people have made about how dialogue and the final Garrusmance scene all indicate they never did the deed. Which I violently refute within my own mind.

How much DID they plan? I still want a threesome with Garrus and Thane and I still want Jack to be bisexual.

I know.  I've read them.  Also, that should be fanfiction.net's slogan, "There's a fic for that."

Well, I tried doing a bunch of side missions on the Citadel, and Liara still has no new conversation options. I'll have to try Noveria tomorrow and hope that works.

That would be your problem right there. Do some planet side-missions. The Citadel ones might not count (because you're doing multiple missions in one place; the game probably registers the number of times you leave the Normandy as progression or something). At least, all the missions I did to trigger new Normandy convos were always planet side-missions.

I guess that one planet mission and all of those Citadel missions probably counted as two instead of... five? I've got at least three planet side missions left, so I'll see if those work.

That conversation between Garrus and Kaidan about the L2 implants is interesting. So turians would just deal with the headaches if it'll make their biotics stronger? I wonder if they'd feel the same way about all the other side effects Dr. Chakwas mentioned.

Yeah, that surprised me a bit. You'd think turians would put more importance on functional soldiers than raw firepower. Keeping L2 implants sounds more like something krogan would do, but maybe that's just me.

Now I wonder what kind of side effects turian biotic implants would have if they're okay with headaches. They would probably deal with a lot of the negative effects if power means that much to them, but where would they draw the line?

Concerning turian pillows, I was actually imagining one of those headrest thingies they use in African countries (clicky) That would raise the head just high enough that the fringe shouldn't get in the way (unless your name is Saren, in which case you'd need a headpillar instead of a headrest). Plus, it's more Spartan than a pillow, which seems like it would fit right into turian culture.

Poor Saren. xD I keep thinking about that scene in Revelation when he said he was going to get a few hours of sleep before the mission.

Anderson: So, did you sleep well?
Saren: No. I spent two hours trying to get comfortable, then I closed my eyes for all of five seconds before the alarm went off.

Ah, Saren. One of those characters that you really, really want to hate, but can't help but like in some strange way. Is it the coolness factor? Turians are just so incredibly cool. Their look is so distinct and majestic. Saren's cybernetic implants add to that mystique. The guy did some loathsome things, but I never stopped trying to turn him. In a very Loghain-y kind of way he thought he was doing the right thing. Of course, he was indoctrinated, but still. And oh... I like hearing Garrus say, "Saren". His voice inflections make the tiny hairs on the back of my neck stand up in a good way.

Saren was one of the cooler villains ever.

Also, I love your Zevran banner. ;)

The interesting thing about Saren is that, depending on how renegade you played it, Shepard could be just like him. Saren might have had some Turian imperial dominance ideas, but he never wanted to become servant Sovereign made him.

Three lines with  "Saren" in it. There's more of course, but I need time to get through all these files, lol.

Also... groaning Garrus anyone? I found an 'ahem'-worthy soundfile. :bandit:

It's hard to make Shepard choose the "When I find him, he dies" dialogue options about Saren now that he's my favorite... it was easier the first time around before I saw that ending scene, and read Revelation. And this Shepard has to choose the "I don't feel sorry for him at all" dialogue options too. D: My MainShep is the opposite - she's way more upset about Saren's death than the many Alliance soldiers who died to save the Council. (The main reason she chose to save the Destiny Ascencion? ...There was a turian on board.)

And I like Liara less now after her recruitment mission. >_>; She called Saren "that turian bastard". I understand why she wouldn't like Saren, but that almost sounded insulting to turians in general...

By the way, I remember someone mentioned that you can see the turian councillor's neck through his clothes when he's talking to Shepard as a hologram. Now that I'm paying attention to it, I think he shows up like that all the time.
