Didn't think of that, she wouldn't be best for that mission but I like to hear these little variations. I liked bringing her for the quarian accused of stealing on the Citadel as well, she and the other quarian have some interchange and Tali addresses the other quarian by name (I like hearing the correct pronunciations).

She gets quite a bit of extra dialogue in that case.  I always bring her.

I hope we hear BK's voice more and more in different places. I think he proved in both MEs that he can really contribute real feeling to the role and that he's a skilled actor.
Let's not even talk about how his voice melts off women's clothes instantaneously. ;)

I recommend his turn as a heroine addicted vetren in Raising the Bar, then. :)

Best thread ever XD

I've got the 50% covered...;)

@nilfalasial. Could well be the line. It's one he says on his LM. OMG - I once listened to all of Garrus dialogue in the sound files. Some of it is... well, I got choked up and it was totally out of context. (however, some of it is not the best thing to play loudly in a flat you share with other people. You get some... funny looks.)  :wizard:

Have you already downloaded the ME1 'ahem' soundfiles I posted a while back?

I let Kasumi keep the grey box, because it has one pic of a Reaper in it. Maybe it could be useful.

I saved Garrus's LM to practically last because he has so few LINES! /cry

And this way I get most of everyone elses stuff just out of the way.

I'm going to do Thane's first, then Gar. Samara is int here too, but I had to keep her till last because of the morality check. XD

As for Zaeed, I can't stand his whole "MUST KILL DUDE" instead of saving the workers, so I save that one till later because I feel weird doing something paragony. Though he ends up not being loyal afterwards, I don't really mind. I almost wish I could leave him behind. But I like to think that when I talk Garrus on that mission, I show him how to be a "good" Renegade.

Shepard: See Garrus, this guy's vengeance has made him retarded. Let's go save those people.

Zaeed: *foaming at the mouth* "NOOOOOOOOO VITO RARGABLERARRRRRRRRRRRR"

Garrus: Er, right behind you Shepard.

As for Kasumi, I did the selfish thing, told her to keep it. I know, it means she's not going to move on easily (makes my head cannon for a Jacob/Kasumi/Miranda triangle all that more ANGSTY!) but I'm more curious about the intel. She's loyal to you, so more than likely, she'll share. And I'd like to know if the speculation about it being connected to Revelation is right or if maybe it has something to do with Cerberus and the Alliance... it might be worth it to keep it... especially if you need something out of the Shadow Broker in the future... XD

@ Aricle: I've never brought Legion on Tali's LM, mainly because I'm not sure how it's possible without either a) losing your crew or B) having an unloyal Legion or c) keeping Tali's LM for post-game and thus having an unloyal Tali. You only have time for one mission between acquiring the IFF and having it installed, so...

I feared that, too, but I did it without any deaths.  -I did everything but her loyalty mission before the Reaper IFF.  -I activated Legion. -I did not speak to Tali about her trial when Kelly prompted me to do so, until actually ready to go, to be extra careful. -I took Legion with me to the trial and the very specific dialogue means it is a possibility to do this, not a fluke. -I then went to Illium to buy an upgrade. -Talked to Legion to get his loyalty mission. -Did his mission. -Talked to crew, upgraded weapons, talked to Tali, then got prompt from EDI about taking the shuttle on next mission once returned to CIC. -Took the shuttle. -Collectors attacked. -Went through relay promptly. -Everyone survived except Horizon colonist.

All in all, I did Tali's and Legion's missions post-IFF mission, along with a trip to Illium and time spent talking to crew and researching weapons. I did not get Tali's ship upgrade due to avoiding talking to her out of fear that I'd trigger her Loyalty mission before ready, so was worried but the upgrade is automatically given upon return from her trial. The email from the admiral arrives after Legion's trial but otherwise, everything worked out fine.

And, Garrus. Image IPB

Hahaha ok, that's new.

I guess because I got info on Garrus not through Harkin, when talking to the volus, Shepard didn't know who Harkin was. The line Garrus says is priceless:

Shepard: I can't wait to talk to him.

Garrus: Talk all you want. I'll be too busy giving his kidney's a friendly thumping.

XD

I love this game for all of these little surprises. Never heard that one before.

You mentioned something earlier about 100 questions about your Shepard.  What did you mean? A survey to help create a Shepard?

Not sure if the turians and humans are totally the same in their philosophy toward war. .

I can give you guys one big difference right here:

Asymetric warfare.  Aka guerilla war, terrorism, freedom fighters, etc.

It's going to drive the turians friggin' crazy.

What do you do when you bring in your fleet and your army and get ready to smash your enemy and you can't find 'em because they've blended back into the general populace and your enemy is only one in a thousand guys?

Look at the updates from Taetrus.  The Hierarchy is marching a massive assault force into the province where the terrorist group is--despite the fact that an awful lot of non-terrorist turians live there.  The more innocent people who get killed, the more future terrorists you're going to get.

Not like Facinus had terrorism down really well either.  If you're going to fly a starship into a city, don't pick your own city....and man, a whole bunch of carbombs might have been a better way to go than one event that pisses off the entire galaxy....but when your species' mindset is "all or nothing" the idea of a whole bunch of scattered attacks just isn't natural when you can GO BIG.

Frankly, I think the arrival of humanity on the scene gave the Hierarchy something to think about for thirty-some years....something else other than the continuing problems in their colonies.

I think turian colonial conflict is going to come back in a big, big way, especially if turian separatists take some tips on guerrilla combat from humans.

I see the turian army as being like old-style medieval warfare where the two sides met on a field of battle and went at it until only one was left standing on the field.  What do you do when your enemy won't come out onto the field...instead she slips out, bombs your train station, and then goes home to her family while you're wondering why the train's late?

Apparently, I missed... a lot of weirdness in here. >_>;

Anyway, one of my Shepards will bring Legion to Tali's missions. Not this MaleShep though - he knows better than that. He is going to leave most (or all) of the loyalty missions until after the "countdown to crew meltdown" part happens. xD He really wants to be sure, and I want this Shepard to bring Tali on as many missions as possible.

I didn't know about that line either. I'll have to try talking to the volus on one of my playthroughs.

Also, that's a nice list of questions for Shepards. :)

Thank you, Steph for the nsas link and Collider for the public link. This looks good for helping with the fanfic too.

Can't see the details of your Steph since that's a private group. What is the group? I requested to join because the little bit I see looks intriguing. EDIT: Sorry if not something to discuss here. Hope that's not offensive in human culture.

Well, this is new. I am currently on Feros in my ME1 playthrough, using Wrex and Garrus. After killing the three charging krogan in front of the man's computer (He's the one that wanted his data back), and watching Wrex have a punching match with one.. Wrex dies, I kill the last krogan, then wrex... bugs. He gets stuck in the barrier, I walk down the stairs and..

It's a fun group.  It's Thane's appreciation group.  Usually when I want to talk about the drell, hanar or Thane/Koylat stuff in general, I chill out there for a bit.
And the dynamic there is pretty kookie.  ^.^
And here, I made a blog entry to save that questioneer.  I know I refer back to it for my own fic writing.

I've had characters get stuck in random places of the game too. If it's possible to walk near Wrex and sort of bump into him, that might help. Otherwise, he should reappear at the next cut scene as if he was following you the whole time.

I like your Steph blog so far.... Great idea.

And the Krogan Battlemaster? Cake! I love singularity <<. Immediately popped it, up he went.. ad We smoked him. (I redid that part a few times on my vanguard though, I believe).

Edit: I saved, then reloaded the save and it brought him back, Kim :D

I'm glad Wrex is back. :) At least the glitches don't seems to last long or happen again after reloading. I think the weirdest glitch I've had was losing the sound for a while in ME2 during and after a Blue Sun's side mission, and the only reason I can think of was because I didn't see a datapad that I needed to click on for more info. The weirdest (and most hilarious) glitch I've ever seen was a youtube video of Shepard's neck stretching all the way across the room, which I think happened during the Benezia fight.

I play on Casual, so most of the battles are really easy in ME1 now that I'm on my third playthrough. I think my MaleShep only died three times so far, and that was because of some foolish mistakes - watching the thresher maw's health bar instead of the thresher maw, running out of time on a heat hazard planet because I lost the Mako, and driving the Mako too close to lava (not into it, just close, as the spinning Critical Mission Failure screen showed that the wheels didn't even thouch it). Which difficulty are you guys playing on, so I know which ones to avoid? xD

@silentstephi: Your Shepard and my MaleShep have a few things in common. :) Earthborn, Sole Survivor, Vanguard (Shock Trooper and soon-to-be Champion), and shotguns.

I'm currently trying to enrol for my subjects next semester. I've enrolled for my photography core classes, and I'm waiting for one of the tutorial slots to open up for another subject so I can enrol. As for my last subject, it is an elective, and I honestly have no idea what subject to do. The one I wanted to do for an elective is not offered this semester, which is a HUGE bummer.

Sorry I don't have any Garrus goodies. I'm currently waiting for a scanner in the uni computer labs. D:

I got that one...twice.  Not looking forward to that (and I'm on Noveria just now). :P
