Garrus Love and Adoration v.2

CH: But there are people who are totally in love with Miranda. She was a simpler character I think, but a lot of people really responded to her. I'm always amazed at the way people respond to different characters. One of the most reproduced moments in fan art that I've seen is characters female Shepard with Garrus in the end of their romance. It's not even a love scene. They kind of hug and put their heads together. Obviously for a lot of people that meant a lot to them because there are hundreds and hundreds of paintings out there that people have done of that moment that they're sharing.

12 Angry Men. My favorite play, ever. Hell, you got 12 squaddies. One of them racist, one of them just wants to get out and see the ball game, one trying to keep peace...Case closed, it's the perfect choice
Haven't heard of it. I'll try to go to my uni library and look it up. Unfortunately, the script is not available online.
Any other suggestions? I like to keep my options simple.
There was a 1957 film of it. http://en.wikipedia....Men_(1957_film). For some reason, I just love it. I think it's because it made such an impression on me when I read it in school. Heh, I didn't honestly mean that you have to do it. I just love it.
It does deal with racism and "shades of grey", though. Fascinating and entertaining film if you get the chance. Also had a very creditable 1997 HBO remake.
Also, art containing Garrus. (3 Angry Squaddies?)

I liked Garrus' opinion about the Collector base. It's really nice for a Shepard who wants to save the Collector base, but is having a hard time with that decision, to have a good friend like Garrus say something like that. For example, my Colonist Sole Survivor who will save the base would not find comments like "Don't do it, this is wrong!" very reassuring, even though he would never change his decisions.
Xsauce, those comics are hilarious. My favorites are "I slept with all of their Shepards too" and "This is why I stopped reading books written by humans".
So, I'm not the only one in this thread who plays Dragon Age on Casual?

I hope he doesn't know the other... attrocities we've done here. Poor Garrus, and it's all for MOAR Garrus.

I'm even waiting on EDI to turn against me in ME3.
You know what? That's an intriguing thought...And I already know she's spying on us during the love scene. <_<
Don't tell me...
EDI is going to blackmail us with a sex tape?
Neah, Joker is going to give her less attention since he is too busy watching porn on the extranet and she's going to turn just like the Planet Express Ship since she's now the Normandy.

I don't like the way he called Miranda "simpler" and I don't like the way he said it "wasn't even a love scene". It was one of the most touching love scenes I've seen in a game.

I think he just meant that there wasn't anything overt in the romance scene in terms of animations implying intimacy.
Yes, I agree, but I think it's worth debating to raise the point that someone else brought up a while back: Just because there's no overt sex going on, doesn't mean there is no intimacy. That's the most vulnerable Garrus has ever been, right there, for example.
And I think the headbump = kiss is now canon, even if they didn't design it that way. Garrus fans are unstoppable.

And miranda? Simple? Don't make me laugh. Its obvious that CH and the devs took at least 7 months sculping her ass to perfection. Don't tell me that she's "simple"

My shepards doesn't like garrus
because he is turian, but because of his personality, the same can be
said with tali, thane, wrex and other alien squad members. They both
strongly disagree with racism on all sides of species and they are not
afraid to voice their opinions on it.
Do you mean that your Shepards don't like aliens in general or species that are racist in their eyes?

THIS MUST HAPPEN.
Why Garrus? Because he's awesome. And as silly as this may sound... the character's personality reminds me of my husband. So... even though Steph has little to no resemblance in back ground to me... there ya go. ^.^
Casey's interview: We talked about it 30 or so pages ago, but suffice to say, I don't know if he just kind of skimmed through the other characters that he wasn't working on... or if Miranda get's the "simple" tag because she's human, and designed to be "perfect" or what. Yea. I don't get it. ANYWHOODLE:
Xsauce, another GREAT comic. Your humor, it is teh genius.
But please, no more Mario... it frightens meh. -.-

Garrus and the base - You know, Mordin tried the same trick when it came to the genophage data. Told me that if I deleted it, all the sacrifices Maelon did would be in vain.
I still toasted it. Cause well, if they REALLY need it, I know Mordin could do better. Sans the human sacrifice.
As for what Garrus says about the base, I don't want to keep it.
At all.
Because that line from Sovereign, about how they LEAVE THEIR STUFF BEHIND to force the galaxy into one way of doing things...
No. Not going to use it. Need to hop on the Geth/quarian bandwagon. They had an idea that the Reapers don't like because it's outside their plan. That's what needs focusing on.

No, they view other species not as aliens, but more like normal people. They don't believe racism. When they see people like garrus, tali, thane, wrex, or liara. They don't see "aliens" but they see "people". You get what i'm saying?
Ah, I get it. Thank you; when you wrote
"My shepards doesn't like
garrus because he is turian, but because of his personality"
it sounded like you were saying that they don't like him, but because of -their- personality, they dislike aliens in general. I had to ask because this seemed to contradict the comment about racism that followed. The pronoun mix and saying that they didn't like something instead of what they did like threw me off, if that makes sense.

I'd love to write the parody (12 Angry Squaddies), but likely only you, I, and any surviving descendants of Henry Fonda would get it.
"You didn't REALLY mean it when you said you'd space him...did you??" ...end of Act II
