I feel the same exactly. I couldn't do a "for science" playthrough with any of them dead either. Everyone surviving is best.

Seriously, when Garrus got shot in the gut (or whatever happened) in my first run of the suicide mission, I was like FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU-

But he survived

And something else; After replaying through ME and making a point to talk to Ash, I like her a whole bunch better. I still felt bad letting Kaidan die though!

I REALLY didn't like Ash's xenophobic attitude at the beginning of ME1.  I have been assured that it improves.  I hope so, because I'm Virmiring Kaidan this time (I usually don't). 

And Blaze, haha, that Cerberus gear makes him look like Bumblebee
Yet, a much sexier Bumblebee...hmm

Yeah, I was like "Well, since I should at least have ONE playthrough where Ash survives.." (I had one ME play-through I did myself, the other two Sheps I got from Mass Saves).



She gets better though, once you get past that part it's neat to talk to her about her sisters and so on- They are awesome! I don't remember if I got the "Dog and bear" analogy, or if I just spacebarred through it.. Whoops!

Team Leader: Loyal Garrus/Miranda/Loyal Jacob
Biotic: Loyal Jack/Loyal Samara
Escort: Loyal Mordin
Team Leader: Loyal Garrus/Miranda/Loyal Jacob
Human Reaper: Loyal Garrus/Loyal Tali

For the first Team Leader position, Miranda still needs to be loyal or the tech expert will die. She can be unloyal the second time around, though.

Zaeed can survive holding the line while unloyal unless someone is going to die, in which case the unloyal squadmates die first. So I hate to say it, but by purposely sending Zaeed off to die, you doomed Tali.

Haha, his reaction was absolute perfection though...after that "nooo!" moment, he shakes his head, shakes it off, stands up, and Shep punches him on the shoulder as if to say, "eh, you lost half your face to a missile, this is like a mosquito bite, dude!" He shrugs it off and keeps on going.

I love that scene so, so much. In truth, one of my very favorite parts of ME2.

It was nice having Garrus in the first part of that run through... but I started having serpation anxeity during the Swarms... but he needed to lead for one.  Gotta show him Shepard trusts him with that sorta thing.

I'm... tempted to keep this PT... it's not that I don't like Tali, I love her! But... this is going to cause so much aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaangst... and I have a feeling it'd suck for ME3... without Tali, I'm probably not going to get the quarians.

Garrus does such a good job of leading both fire teams, I get jealous he ain't with me.



I just hear him over the Comm shouting things like "Perfect!" and "One less to worry about!" and I get green with envy that I'm not by his side, sniping things. (my current Shep is an Infiltrator).

But, at least he's getting the job done. Good old Garrus.

Do you think Garrus or Tali would have joined the suicide mission if anyone other than Shepard was organizing it? Some of the other squadmates do it either to save innocent lives or because Cerberus paid them. Garrus and Tali didn't need another reason because they would have followed Shepard regardless, but what if some other human had come to them asking them to put their lives in danger to confront the Collectors?
