Garrus does such a good job of leading both fire teams, I get jealous he ain't with me.
I just hear him over the Comm shouting things like "Perfect!" and "One less to worry about!" and I get green with envy that I'm not by his side, sniping things. (my current Shep is an Infiltrator).
But, at least he's getting the job done. Good old Garrus.
I always rather liked how every other alternate team member's dialogue during that section is like "Oh snap, we're really getting hammered here but we have to pull through somehow!", while Garrus' dialogue is like "We're good, see you on the other side!"

I have a hard time thinking they'd go with just any ol' human. Not sure about Tali, but Garrus, if he had gone with Shepard and KNEW about the Reaper threat, just might. But I don't know if he'd have survived it.Pacifien wrote...
Do you think Garrus or Tali would have joined the suicide mission if anyone other than Shepard was organizing it? Some of the other squadmates do it either to save innocent lives or because Cerberus paid them. Garrus and Tali didn't need another reason because they would have followed Shepard regardless, but what if some other human had come to them asking them to put their lives in danger to confront the Collectors?
And if you're assuming they get this info cold turkey... then I think the human probably would have gotten turned away.
Depends on the human, their background, if Garrus could trust this person, etc.

Yeah, he literally sounds cheerful.
I swear, if he could kick any more ass in this game, I don't think my little heart could take it.

Tali I think would not have gone. Her loyalty to her people and the Migrant Fleet is clear, it's only Shepard's force of personality that draws her away. I don't she could have gotten past the fact that Cerberus was funding the mission with anyone else leading the team.

The Citadel is a Reaper. It is Reaper Prime. Oh yes.battlechantress wrote...
I never thought they believed it. Just getting them to agree to let you go after Saren was a PITA. It's never said, but I often wondered if the Citadel is a kind of indoctrination device in and of itself (not as overt as Sovereign, though, obviously). (After I got the email for scanning the keepers in ME2, I began to wonder....) If they *do* know what's really going on, then why stay at the Citadel and literally do nothing? It can't be all fear and denial. (Just my 0.02 credit chits though.)

My first motivational for all the Clan V gurlz...I couldn't resist!

Now I really DO have to do some work and not get side-tracked by Garrus:wub:

Hahahha! I love it
And it is sick how this game can take over your life...I started to see Garrus/ME stuff in everything I saw. LOL
My husband told me the dishwasher needed soap. I indicated the soap compartment and said, "Hell, yeh...put more of the...stuff.. in the thing the stuff goes in."
Haha, he doesn't realize the depth of my obsession. It's cute.

Also, re that motivation: YUM. :3
And re the movie: ICK! D:< NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! (It MIGHT be okay if they do not do the game storylines AT ALL. Ever. But that's a major 'MAYBE'...)

GAIZ! THIS NEEDS A CAPTION!

Oh man... I was hitting the button so many times... I wonder what other gems I'll find in this...
I'm totally not allowed to take any more screenies... not until I can order these together into their proper folders and share them... but oh man... the gold I have yet to find... I'm still on Freedom's Progress! XD

Haha, his reaction was absolute perfection though...after that "nooo!" moment, he shakes his head, shakes it off, stands up, and Shep punches him on the shoulder as if to say, "eh, you lost half your face to a missile, this is like a mosquito bite, dude!" He shrugs it off and keeps on going.
I love that scene so, so much. In truth, one of my very favorite parts of ME2.

All of those mods look awesome. (Maybe, in a year or two, I'll have a gaming PC and get DLC and mods all at the same time.) I'm curious though, is it just the PC version of ME1 where Garrus' face looks like that? It looks like it has a lot more detail in my Xbox version. Or is it because I'm playing on an SD TV, so it all looks the same? xD
When this MaleShep I'm playing in ME1 gets to the suicide mission, he'll get the crew and Miranda killed off. I wouldn't kill off any of my favorite characters though, like Garrus. Besides, if this MaleShep lost Tali, he would die a little inside. He liked her from ME1. His set-up will probably be Tali for the vents, Garrus for team leader both times, Mordin for escort, Tali and Miranda for the final battle.
I'm still trying to decide on playthroughs where squadmates/crew get killed off. One might go with a repeat of this playthrough (possibly with Jacob too), but for revenge instead of paranoia. The Cerberus loyalist who follows all of the Illusive Man's orders will sell Legion to Cerberus. Evil Shepard will choose Morinth over Samara. Most of them get playthroughs where everyone survives though.
The Mass Effect movie... Now that I think about it, I'd like to see movie Saren.
@kglaser: Good luck with turning down Liara.
@silentstephi: That picture does need a caption. xD I can't think of one... but that's hilarious.

I'd really like to see a movie about Revelation, or the First Contact War.
I agree. I think a movie about Saren or the First Contact War would be best. But most of all I'd like to see Anderson and Saren's story.

As for the ME Garrus face, may just be PC only? I've heard that he's lowres for PCs at least, not sure on xbox.

Also just found out the name of the commander for the Destiny Ascension is Matriarch Lidanya, ha!
Edit: Hehe, yeaaaah. I Virmired Ash on my first playthrough, then the two Femsheps I got from Mass effect saves also had virmired her.. So I wanted to let ash survive for once, while also making it through without triggering Liara.. That seemed to be the easiest way! (Plus, fun to talk to them all~)
