I agree. I think a movie about Saren or the First Contact War would be best. But most of all I'd like to see Anderson and Saren's story.

They should make both! I doubt they will, but I can hope. xD

Ashley will get Virmired on most of my playthroughs. The MaleShep I'm playing now does like Kaidan more, but his decision was based only on the mission - the nuke, in his opinion, was most important.

@kglaser: Do a bunch of planet side missions and keep trying to talk to Liara. That advice worked for me.

Hehe, so bad! And yeah, should be the second time you can talk personally with her, another major mission should help. It definitely was a "Oh man, Poor Kaidan!" moment. I set Ash up with the bomb so that "Rpwise", I had a reason to go get her over Kaidan.

One thing i regret about my shepard speed run on ME1, tali doesn't give me a warm welcome =(. Oh well, that should all change once i start talking with her and help her out with her loyalty mission.



But i had time to do garrus's side quest, it was my shepard's instinct =p

Is it because you didn't get the geth data for Tali? I haven't seen a video of what happens in ME2 if Shepard refuses to give it to her... I just assumed it wouldn't have much effect, like not recruiting Garrus in ME1. Garrus is still nice to a Shepard who left him behind.

Damn it, i must have missed that part, oh well, thats what saving before going to illos is for. For some reason i hate going back to ME1

She kind of welcomes you, she doesn't tell you that its good to have you back, and her dialouge when you ask her to join you changed too, she says that she doesn't trust you because you are with cerberus and her mission is to important.

In that case, it's better to replay, especially if Tali is one of your favorites. Even though her geth data missions are basically a series of... five?

Some of my Shepards will end up getting that response, but I don't mind it. They'll never leave Garrus on the Citadel though, or kill off my favorites (Saren does not count - they don't kill him, he kills himself).

There are 5? Gawd.....i don't know if its worth the time. I like ME2 far better then ME1. And besides after recruiting tali again and helping her out with her personal problems, and yelling at the admiralty board for her, we'd be best of friends soon enough.

I know. I actually liked Ashley and Kaidan (Ashley > Kaidan), so I didn't want to kill them. Liara however is a special case. Her creepiness should be nuked. At least she improved slightly in ME2, whilst Ashley/Kaidan scream at your face.

Actually, on my first playthrough, I killed Tali on hold the line as well. Thane died since I sent him to the vents, Jack died when seeker swarms took her, Miranda was my biotic and Samara died as the Second Fire Team. But I reloaded a save, and only Mordin died when holding the line

I didn't realise that Garrus could be both fire leaders, so i might do it for this playthrough.

@Andaius: And I like the cerberus-coloured armour. It looks cool!

I think there's five different planets with geth bases. It doesn't take that long though. But Tali probably will start to like Shepard again anyway.

I saw that airquotes animation in Velarn's thread. It's awesome. xD Lying about what though? The technicality that my Shepard's didn't really kill Saren? There is an option to do that, but my Shepards Paragon/Renegade him.

Does anyone know where the ME2 soundfiles can be downloaded? I want to add them....but they thought of going back through hundreds of pages is rather unappealing. If not, does anyone know who originally uploaded them?

Mediafire used to be good, emphasis on the used because I haven't used in the last months, but it's a pretty good place to store almost anything that can't be hot-linked and needed to be downloaded the last time I looked. There are other places such as Megaupload, ifile, rapidshare, but they are really buggy these days.
