Blood mixups: there are turian corpses in ME2 with red blood splattered around them. Krogan corpses too. Obviously, red is wrong for them. So since there weren't any quarian corpses in ME1 to give us an official blood colour, red blood on quarian corpses in ME2 is possibly not the right colour.

What about drell blood? Does Kolyat bleed if you shoot him? I've never tried it.

Yes, I know, but would it be different/worse because of the different amino acids? Otherwise it could be a problem on the battlefield when Shep and Garrus are on a mission.

I was the one who asked. Thanks for the info. I thought it was strange that Garrus looked normal on my TV, but not in half of the ME1 screenshots I've seen of him.

@Xsauce: Those comics are hilarious. xD Of course they're not off-topic, it's Garrus-related!

By the way, I've seen that mod to make Garrus look like Nihlus. I've never seen screenshots from the romance scene with him like that before, but it was the first thing I thought of when I saw the mod. The same thing probably isn't possible with Saren... or is it? (I don't know much about mods, but I think they need the same face shape for the retexture, so Saren probably wouldn't work? But I've seen Garrus in place of Shepard and it seems to work most of the time, so I'm a little confused.)

I find it hard to believe Shepard didn't get at least some of Garrus's blood in one of his/her wounds or eyes or something after Garrus gets hit with the missile. I mean, there was blood *EVERYWHERE*.

I don't think it's a problem until it get's into Shepard's bloodstream or mouth,

He was slightly isolated. No doubt it was a powerful blast, though.

AM I alone in not wanting to mod my ME game? I mean, as much as I'd love to see Garrus walking around in black (/swoons) I'm just... bleck about modding ME. I've modded Dragon Age, it was a pain, not sure I'll do that again.

I've futzed with my WoW UI, but ME is fine the way it is.

Though admittedly, the lulzy Zombie Garrus/Thane Effect are priceless. XD



Re:blood - I'm not sure about that ... I know it's bad to mix blood even with humans, because of blood types. I'm not sure if you'd have to have just some contact or if you'd have to be pumping a different type of blood through someone before ill effects start happening.

And as for the Mordin comments... he was mocking! It was adorable... adorably mocking Shepard and her fun. So while sure, it's an interesting twist, apparently allergic reactions aren't all that happens when it comes to the different food/drink types. Remember Aeytha tells you the red nuts give levo's cramps.

Yeah, but Shep wasn't standing there when he gets hit. Remember, he she runs up to him.

Yeah, I know, s/he kind of runs over and kneels down...I just mean that with the sheer quantity of blood, it looked like more than a possibility.  At least to me.

STD's can be transmitted through the eyes (mucuous membrane), so it could still be a problem. But that's only if Shepard is indeed sensitive for this. Still, pretty interesting, because there's no battle without blood.

It was def a good touch.

Just not sure if the raw wound on his face should be so red... maybe more purple? I dunno. It looks good regardless ( the scar!)
