Your not "bugging" anyone raphael. we actually like to have a straightforward discussion or else we get very bored and make very disturbing pictures with garrus in it.

No prob, this is probably the most badass garrus sig out there. Though there are only like 3 or 4 people using it, including us.Sand King wrote...

Good luck with it. ^.^ I'm trying to hash out my own OC centric fic... but it's not very turian based. (Though there is a fem Turian...)
Don't ask me why, but the drell have fascinated me. The idea that the hanar actually have a type of slavery/indentured servitude going on and the Council turns a blind eye to it... /omnomnomnoms

Oh yea, sure, they saved them from extinction, yadda yadda...Raphael diSanto wrote...
Haha.. Well, the Drell/Hanar relationship is .. interesting. It's obviously voluntary and honor-bound, which is what makes it interesting. The Drell, as a people, are evidently very beholden to the Hanar for saving their race.
but why aren't they helping them establish a colony of their own?
What is it in drell make up, a world that was suffereing from overpopulation, that's keeping them from asking? Why after 200 years did the hanar only NOW start researching a cure?
And how much of it is just a way to save face? "Don't call it slavery, that's insulting! We are honored to do this!"
I could go ooooooon and on and on XD
But this is Garrus's thread, not Thane's. So, I'll just quip with my favorite topic: Tats!
Ok, so there's joking from Shepard that it's face paint, but I wonder... it seems to me that it'd be a bit.. hindersome to a milteristic culture to have to put on their makeup every, damn, day... so what kind of methods do you think they'd use instead to tattoo their faces?
If the plates are hard enough to not take a needle to put the ink in, think they sear colors into the plates instead?
Like you would with clay pots and kilns (ok not that extreme... or maybe? I dunno, radiation would work too, right?)

I thinks it just as simple that they have a way to penetrate there skin with a needle and apply the tattoo. But I wonder when they get and how/if they can be removed. Because Turian’s with out tattoos are outcasts that can’t be trusted.silentstephi wrote...

Somewhere in this thread, I remember reading an idea that turian criminals could use facepaint instead of tattoos to change their appearance and alliances, or something like that. It sounded awesome.
