Something you can talk about when I'm dreaming about Garrus: What do you expect in ME3 when it comes to romance scenes? In ME1 and 2, the romance scenes were right before the last mission. Do you think BW will do this again, or at another point in the game?

I suspect that the main romance scene will be right at the end before the final mission as it was in ME1 and ME2. But, if you've got a previous-game love interest around you may get to be more flirty with them, etc.



I'm actually more interested in what kind of epilogue (if any) we'll get. Like I said before, I kind of feel like paragon-Garrus will go back to C-Sec and proceed to make a difference there. Renegade-Garrus will become a renowned Spectre. Neutral-Garrus will probably run back to Omega or become a drunk or something. If you romanced him and don't dump him in ME3, he'll stick around with your Shepard. If you do dump him, then, ouch, you're unspeakably cruel.

The timing never sat well for me - wine right before a suicide mission - thats suicide!

I think at this point, it's kind of traditional.  So yes, I think they'll do it again.  But, who knows for sure until ME3 comes out?  Best to wait methinks...?

And has anyone had any ACTUAL Garrus dreams?  I know when I was into "Thief" hardcore I would have dreams about the game.  I even designed part of a level in my sleep, and it was pretty cool too.

I also think the romance scene right before the final battle is tradition by now, so they'll probably keep that the way it is. Maybe something extra for the Shepards who had a romance in ME1/2?

@kglaser: Before ME2 was released, I had a dream of Garrus fighting on Shepard's squad, and the shape of the room was oddly similar to that scene with the Collectors coming in on their floating circular pannels (I have no idea what they're called, or if they even have a name). This was back when I was just reading the forums and not posting, and it was filled with speculation of squadmates returning or not, and possible evidence of a Garrus romance.

i love abstract art, its the most interesting thing in my opinion. The background to our epic sig is an abstract king. I was thinking to maybe have something a little along those lines for the banner. But that test run looks awesome.

well jones. We had a discussion on why a majority of us think that garrus's romance is not a fling. And then we had happy hour, cerrydd made a new colorful garrus banner (in my sig) and then king might but in an abstract background to the new banner.

How could anyone think Garrus' romance is a fling?

Isn't the whole point of it that it starts out flirty and then the real feelings Shepard and Garrus have for each other are revealed?

Also, I'm digging the new banner.
