It's well done, I'll give it that, but to me it looks too much like Garrus in a bikini.
Come on, give me some tertiary sexual characteristics here. No need to emphasize the chest or the bare midriff! Those are distinctively mammalian traits. Turians are archosaurian equivalents. They should have... I don't know, supportive waists and nice fringes!
Again, good picture. The design just seems... off to me. All in good fun though, I suppose.
lol, exactly my thoughts. I like the art, but I don't like the bare belly. We have asari (and some human females) who already shed skin, please let the turian women wear normal clothes. They don't need a bikini to appear female.

Alright, question time - for the girls, what first attracted you to Garrus? Did you find him interesting in that way in ME1, or was it something that set in in ME2? What's your favorite part of Garrus' personality? Favorite part of his romance?
I've been thinking about this a while ago and I don't really have a good answer. I liked him a lot in ME1, he was my second favourite after Wrex. Those two were always in my team, the rest didn't even come close. Wrex and Garrus are incredibly cool, I don't know what it is. I'm not a fan of manly men IRL, so I guess I'm just going wild in the ME universe, lol.
Does his heavy armor in ME2 make him more attractive for me? No. I'm not a fan of human male bodies, I'm a weird girl when it comes to that. I don't give a damn about a sixpack, muscles, broad shoulders etc. I like female bodies more, so pics of shirtless men don't make me drool. I know turians are well designed, as almost everyone considers them cool, but I couldn't tell an attractive turian from an ugly turian. I guess it's fair to say that Garrus' looks didn't win me over. I know I sometimes say he's handsome and pretty, but that's just because I'm in looooove
There's something about his personality that draws me in. Passionate, determined, knows exactly what he wants (= fight injustice), also knows what needs to be done right now (= stop Reapers). He is honest, not afraid to tell you what he thinks about something, but always trusts and respects your decisions. And on top of that, he can also make me laugh, something that's very important to me. He is very professional, but you just know you can hang out with him and have fun.
I can't say which part of the romance is my favourite. It got me hooked right from 'reach and flexibility'. I liked both the build-up and the culmination. Plus, it was fun to see this BAMF get all awkward and adorable.
And last, but definitely not least.... DAT VOICE! Seriously, I have never paid attention to voices (apart from singers). I know when a voice grates my ears (= Thane), but I've never heard a voice that I thought was sexy. Until Garrus came along. Oh BW, thank you for casting BK!
So, let's end this post with a 'handsome' Garrus pic

My first positive impression of Garrus was a simultaneous mix of voice and personality. When I first heard him, he was totally not how I imagined (I expected his voice to be lower and more raucous), but it was also a lot better than expected. The personality was the big win though: impulsive, but anxious to do things right, with a hint of danger, because of his loose cannon tendencies = why, hello there. I already knew he would man up more in ME2 and be an LI before even starting ME1, so I guess I appreciated his potential a lot more in ME1, despite him still having a very protocolar and student-y side. Had I not known about ME2, it might have been different. Still, ME2 completely cemented my interest and made me care by making me worry about him, on top of everything. I guess my favourite parts of his personality would be the hotheadedness, the trustworthiness, the enthusiasm and the snark.Collider wrote...

Favourite part of the romance? Definitely the culmination. It made me grin like an idiot. But the rest of it was also squee-inducing: it really is both funny and heartwarming to see him floundering about with innuendoes and knowing how much he invests himself in the whole thing. Just wish there was more of it ; ;
On a different romance topic, here's a mini-rant. I think I've set myself up for maaaaajor drama in DA:O. I find Leliana annoying, but I have considerably warmed up to Alistair, in an "aww, yousocute, lemme pinch your cheeks! goofy jokes, yay!", completely unromantic kind of way. Well, in order to free up my inventory, I decided to play Grey Warden Santa and give out gifts; in retrospect, a stupid idea. Both Al's and Lel's affection bars went up suspiciously high, but I hadn't had any romantic convos with them, so I didn't think much more about it. But then, while roaming through the Circle Tower, I accidentally clicked on Al and got the rose convo. Cue major "...oh, I'm such an ass..." moment and reload. But even if I don't talk to him in camp from now on, I'm still gonna get the inevitable "him or me" when Zev's approval starts piling up, aren't I?
Edit: About Tali's redesign in between ME1 and ME2. She was actually *more* curvy in ME1. Her "grown up" suit in ME2 covers her hips more and makes them less prominent, which is actually odd. But she was definitely designed to be appealing to the eyes, even in ME1.

Oh god Garrus chick. Now I see a baby turian with wings. :|
Collider, you might not have noticed how curvy Tali is and how tight her environmental suit is. She's really got a very nice body if you look at it from a human standpoint. She has great boobs and a nice butt, even though you can't see her face she's very anatomically attractive. Even Kenneth Donelly says so in game.

Haha, good idea. Alll seriousness though, I'd be disappointed if we don't see any in ME3. Would be really weird since we're not given any in-game lore reasons for females being mysteriously absent. With the Salarians and Krogan, their females are rare and usually kept away, but the Turians we've got nothing. I get the impression that Turian males and females are equal, so it would strange if they didn't show up.God I hope Bioware makes female turians. We should have a petition or something.
What you don't know is that Garrus is secretly a female turian. You just never knew the difference.
No, he's male...I had my FemShep take pictures while he was asleep.

Oh man, how awesome would it be if Garrus were actually female, then I could be gay for Garrus without having to get around the not being attracted to men part!

Having a man-crush on Garrus is like Gerald Butler. Every guy has a man-crush on Gerald Butler.

I've had a huge crush on him since I played ME1 in 2007. I used to sit there on my couch and feel bad and feel guilty thinking, what is *wrong* with me? Nobody would ever understand this, this guy doesn't even look remotely human (humanoid, yes; human, no)--am I sick or something? LOL But now I see I'm far from alone, anyway (even if that makes us all deviants, LOL)
For me it was definitely his voice that first attracted me to him. Then I started to see all the things that made him different from a human and started finding those attractive, too. I used to stare at his tiny waist in the elevator and admire it. Then I would go look at his fringe for the rest of the time. That is a LONG elevator ride. But somehow I never got bored staring at his body.
I like his wry comments and intelligent wit, which is easier to see in 2 than 1. I like that he takes whatever he's doing seriously. He's very...intense and single-minded. Which is sexy.
I actually liked his whole romance...although the first time I played it, I admit watching the first and second conversations through my fingers because I couldn't believe what I was hearing. hahaha

Just a comment on a comment in this topic - about Garrus' armor. It was made heavier and bulkier - for the Garrus romancers, did that make him more attractive than say his ME1 armor? Or for guys, does that make him cooler for you (the ME2 armor)?
I didn't realize how much bigger that heavy armor was making him look until I compared screenshots of him from both games. From a plot standpoint, it makes perfect sense to have him in the heavy armor, considering what he was doing on Omega. But dang. When he put his foot on Harkin's neck, I was all

As to what I found bro-ish about Garrus, it's his overall "stick with you no matter what happens" attitude. I actually liked Wrex slightly more in ME1, but in ME2, Garrus really shows how much Shepard, whatever the gender, means to him. That's really quite heartwarming. He'll ocver your back, like you covered his on Omega's, and you both know it.
Plus, Garrus as a whole is just made of win. He's rough around the edges and scoundrel-ly without actually being, you know, a scoundrel. He's caring while putting on a tough face. And he's willing to disagree with Shepard, at least privately, and I think that's the mark of a good character. One of the things that always gets to me in BioWare games is how easily good characters go along with you being an *** (I mean, really, it takes until the Unknown World for Carth to notice you're kind of dark sidey?).
Garrus, while loyal, is willing to question Shepard, both if he thinks he's being too soft (Sidonis) and if he thinks he's being too harsh or unresonable.

Garrus looks as if he's going to kiss Harkin on the forhead.
But that bastard did deserve to get beat up. He's so gross and eugh. Especially in ME to female Shepard. :/

IMO, Dragon Age over did it with gifts. There was too many and you could get too much approval from it. What you said also appears to be another example of how the romances in that game can be a little too sensitive - the same thing happened to me with Ashley in ME1. I dislike ninja romances. I think ME2 is at least a little better about this because it's more obvious whether Shepard is going to flirt or not.
Tali & Garrus' romances are pretty easy to see whether x choice is going to lead to the romance, at least.
Thane's romance starts with "I want you" right? That's pretty straight forward.
Jacob, well...his romance wasn't very good in general, though.
Jack and Miranda's romances can be a little tricky though - I've chosen what I assumed to be innocuous, "just being nice" options and they came out flirty. Thankfully I'm able to back away and break up with them if they get the wrong impression though. Another advantage of ME1 - the option to break it off at any time, without having to be a jerk (thank god).

I salute them.
On another topic, I see alot of disscussion about Garrus being a mammal or a reptile. I personally think that Turians are "dinosauric," birds that share reptilian traits.
