Just figured I'd show some new Garrus pics of my latest suicide mission run. Everyone survived, like always. I don't know if I'll make a playthrough where someone dies in the future.

In this suicide mission run, I found out that:

- a glitch can cause Shepard to show up in her casual clothes to the Oculus fight. I lol'd when my Shep fought in a dress.

- Mordin wields a frigging assault rifle in cutscenes. BADASS.

- Miranda half-flirts with Jacob if you choose him as a leader for the first distraction team, which I did out of curiosity.

- I still don't know what causes Garrus to grab you at the end of the mission. I catch Mordin every time.

Very appropriate line indeed! Both Shepard and Garrus looks sexy in scars though. That Lauryn Hill album is great by the way.

They do, don't they? I'm kinda peeved that I couldn't keep my ME1 scars: Shep had one at the corner of her mouth which I liked a lot. I don't like the glowy ME2 scars, red or white 

And I've not listened to that whole album, but I do like that song a lot. The rest of the lyrics don't quite fit Shep/Garrus though...which is a good thing, considering how depressing they are.

@ Xsause: Yay, pics! The one with Shep and Garrus post-gut shot is lovely.

Edit: OH! I've just remembered something which I should've asked ages ago. To all the sound file miners out there: would it be possible to extract some of the other characters' SM death lines, pwease? I'm especially interested in romanced Thane's ones ("you are beautiful, my siha"). I'd just like to hear how he says them, since I'm not likely to ever kill him off for science, especially not if I romance him. Other lines would also be cool for curiosity's sake, but Thane's ones in particular, if anyone's willing.

I have always had a sneaking suspision that the game keeps track of who you choose first vs. second in the squad selection screen. Although it might also be based on who's squishier.

Edit: Jacob favouritism yet again...He gets 4 death lines. Jack and Thane get 3 (still going down the list)...But both of their romanced lines are  Although Thane's voice sounds different through headphones. Less like he's been gargling cement and more like he was speaking through a synth. I guess it's somewhat similar to a turian's actually...

My first time through, I had Tali and Thane. I caught Tali, then Tali caught me.

Second time through, I had Grunt and Miranda. I caught Grunt (!), Miranda caught me.

So no, you don't catch the squishiest person, lol. And it's not based on party placement, since I got Tali twice the first time around, and she sure didn't change her party placement in between catches.

When does Garrus grab Shepard? I want to see that.

After you kill the final boss, everything starts collapsing, and you catch one of your squaddies. Then when you jump onto the Normandy, one of your squaddies catches you. It can be Garrus if he's one of your final squaddies, but no one knows what actually determines who catches you.

I think its all random, there is no other explanation. I could catch one person, but the other would catch me. Then again if i catch the same person on a different game the same person would catch me. So i really don't know what determines it.

Ah. He pulled me up a few times but I never noticed, I also usually pull Garrus up. I still get anxious watching him fall down the platform even though I know nothing will happen to him.



Aw the Team Lader Fails are depressing, especially the one where Garrus goes "Snipe one for me, would you?". Also Tali makes me so sad when she's dying.

That picture really would be made if Legion joined in the dancing doing an epic robot while repeting over and over "acknowledge this b*tch." XD

As for the current conversation, I think who you pull up might be decided by if they're the oppisite gender and/or a LI. Always ended the sucide mission with Tali and Garrus and because I use maleshep, I always pull up Tali.

Mind you femshep pulling up Garrus...I mean, he's heavy.

I always bring Miranda and Garrus in the end but no matter in what order i pick them i never get to catch Garrus and be cought by him in return. Maybe i'm just unlucky or Miranda has priority catching you becouse she always does.

nothing much, i missed alot of awkward action last night. not to much action going on now, we are trying to figure out what determines shepard to catch a character, and then the character to catch shepard on the suicide mission.

Oh Femshep gets a reverse
Except with Garrus? I hate to admit it, but in the one time I beat the game with my Femshep I romanced Garrus but left him to hold the line.....
