And Batman is awesome.
So, mathematically:
Batman=Awesome; Space=Awesome; Scars=Awesome; Batman + Space + Scars=Garrus=Awesome^3

Ashley's outfit just made lol.
Edit: Garrus looks like he just fought his way through an antique store.

Doing another playthrough - at the first meet & greet with the crew before hitting up Omega - and I think it's time I took a look at this much-extolled Garrus romance. I'll admit the "something to go right" line kinda hit me just right when I first read it, but the chemical incompatibility threw me - cross-species is one thing, but (to coin a phrase) intimate toxicity is another.
But you know what? Shepard's out there putting her life on the line every day, and it's always gone best when she knows that turian rebel has his scope looking over her shoulder. Maybe it's time she relied on him when the armor comes off, too.
Wish us luck.

Just figured I'd show some new Garrus pics of my latest suicide mission run. Everyone survived, like always. I
don't know if I'll make a playthrough where someone dies in the future.
Anyway, here are the pics:

So now we have a theory to prove that Garrus is awesome. I fully agree with you but would also like to add another factor: Sniper = Awesome.Garlador wrote...

Can his awesomeness even be measured?

That's when he's the second team leader and takes a shot in the gut. If he's loyal, he shrugs it off.

I like it for the angle, where it looks like another headbump moment; I never noticed that before. I find it agonizing in that one moment, until he gets up. Is that interaction between them a cutscene? (I've only had him lead second team once).

Leave it to Frank Miller to bring the awesome only to destroy it utterly a couple decades later.
This is why part of my soul goes "hrkgrk" each time people compare Garrus to Batman.

I bring you pictures from Mass Effect original, I just finished for the second time and I gotta say I've never seen the full on Charm Paragon ending, holy crap I felt so bad for Saren. D: All this time I thought he was just dillusional. It's nice to replay, I now have a much more detailed understanding of the plot. Along the way I missed a bunch of things, especially with the "Investigate" bar.
I think I saved conrad this time around. I'm crossing my fingers that charming him will not get him killed. I read online there's a glitch that makes him remember renegade actions in the next game but whatevs. As long as that idiot is still alive and entertaining to watch.
Oh yes, the reason I'm posting is because I thought you might like some sad garrus shots. I wonder if those are his eyes tearing up or if the lighting is just making them shiny.

I wondered what the hell they were.... Miranda and Shep seem to be the only ones that get the comfy looking beds on the whole ship, being first and 2nd in command obviously has benefits!
Well since Garrus is second in command in Shepards bed he does fine anyway. Turians don't like cold though so he probably have cold feet and steals all the quilt. Poor Shepard, but it's no doubt worth it.
Yes but have you seen the talons on a turian's feet?
Actually, no. And I'm a little bitter about it.
(of course there's that one pic of gangsta Garrus, LOL)

It's when the second fire team leader comes back with the team and is a bit hit and slumps over like they've been shot, but are actually not, and scare you out of your **** because you think they're going to die. Miranda and Jacob do it too, it's just that Garrus fits perfectly because he's big and it looks like a headbump for a few frames.Aricle wrote...

Also, it's got that extra coolness factor when it happens with Garrus, because he gets shot, Shepard comes over concerned, he shakes it off, and s/he kind of slaps him on the shoulder and he kinda shakes his head and keeps going. It's almost like Shepard is saying to him, "Come on, you took a rocket to the *face*...this is nothing, dude!" Haha, it's a classic gaming moment for me
