Tons of great art! Silentstephi - I loooove the seXAY kisses art. I would favorite, but I always forget my Deviantart signin, and don't feel like creating yet another new one right now. Will have to bookmark it though.

And I definitely think your emo Shep should romance Thane. I mean... that would be just so emo, don't ya think? One of my current games is a Thane romance right now (Infiltrator Paragade who may lean more toward Ren eventually), but it's taking me forever to get through since I went back and started yet another ME1 game.

Elle's only getting some loads of emo because she died a Sentinel and came back an Engineer /whistles...
I figure that's rife with a bit of sad since well, you grow up having biotics, you get used to it...
But the plot bunnies are breeding... here's hoping some will be caught XD

As for the kiss picture, I saw that on DA and was just like...
It's awesome.  And I was one of the kinds of people who were like... turians can't kiss... but that pic makes me rethink it... just a tad.
They may not be able to kiss, and probably don't get the significance of it... 'cause while I've never actually looked up the reasons why humans kiss... (which I should) I figure it's got something to do with trust.  Turians and humans both have eyes in front, predator type features... I figure having something that close to your face shows a lot of trust. /nod

@ silentstephi: If you want to make a really emo Shepard, you could have her romance Kaidan, hook up with someone else after Horizon, and kill off that guy in the suicide mission. Not that I would want Thane to be killed off though. D: Or you could have her start Kaidan's romance, kill him off on Virmire, and kill off whoever she romanced in ME2 during the suicide mission.

Suffering from serious Garrus voice withdrawal. My in laws are visiting and I don't have a lot of times to game. I really like the Kiss! And even though Garrus doesn't have 'lips' per se, he does have a tongue, so... something could be worked out there, right? Tooth avoidance and all of that. Ah, well, there are always the ahems to get me through the day, as long as I have headphones.

Actually she's really big on the batarian hate.  Like, while I've paragon'd her  pants off and didn't kill the hostages to kill Barak, it was a near thing.  She's a Colonist/War Hero... which was nice, since it's the FIRST TIME EVER that I've done those backgrounds.  Every other iteration of Steph and even Plain Jane was EB/SS.  It was a nice change.
But I'm not going for the ultimate emo... just had this thought... the whole having biotics and then not after death.  Plus the whole trying to be as goody two shoes as possible... it's making my head hurt. XD
It was VERY DIFFICULT for me to paragon Garrus into going back to C Sec.  Saving the council was only slightly easier.  But talking to Garrus and hearing him NOT agree with me threw me for a loop.  XD
Still debating whether or not I'm going to give this new iteration a mean streak come ME2 (haven't started that yet. XD)

I don't think I could ever play a ME where I Virmire'd my first LI and then got my 2nd one offed in ME2.  That's just way to much angst in one shot for me.  The first time 'round, it was a crap deal, but the second time, that smacks of my Shep being way tooo incompitent for my tastes XD  She's supposed to know what she's doing, dang it!

And when did Garrus start liking donuts?  What happened to the cupcakes? Oo

But I was just thinking at work today how incredibly awesome I would feel if any of our silly references from this thread made it into ME3.  Hey, Blasto is in ME2, right?

I got the screencap by just standing behind garrus and playing around with the camera angle before taking a screenshot. Took a lot of trial and error.

And I suppose the reason Garrus likes donuts because he needs a break from the cupcakes.

@ silentstephi: My MainShep is a Colonist War Hero Sentinel who hates batarians too! She also chose the Renegade options with Garrus (but most of my Shepards will).

I don't think any of the Shepards I've planned out have that much sad stuff happen either. My Colonist Sole Survivor already has a slight "everyone I care about dies" mentality, so he doesn't romance anyone. There's one Ruthless who will try to be Paragon, start to romance Ashley but get her killed off on Virmire, and not get to romance Samara. Actually, the one who I imagine to have the worst past is also the best leader, in my opinion.

@ kglaser: Blasto was an idea from the forums? xD That's awesome.

@ Alexine: I've been doing the same thing to get close-up views of turians, except I can't take screenshots on the Xbox version. Good to know that camera trick works on PC too.

Yeah, it does. But I liked in ME1 that when you use the console, you can actually move the camera out of its zone. Wish I could do that with ME2. Now thinking about it, does ME2 have a console (just so I can screw around with some stuff)?

Ooh ooh and as long as we are on this science geek thing I remembered something that happened at work today...I was filling out my monthly report for my supervisor and I was telling him how I was trying to genotype this one organism but I couldn't get it to PCR.  So I told him I'd look online for some different primers/conditions.  I wrote, "I'll do some research, figure out how this is supposed to work..." in my report.  Yes, I actually did.  On purpose.

OK back to Garrus now!

Thanx again Alexine. I macified it since that's where I'm posting from right now and my desktop needed a makeover. I tried to tidy up the place a little for the screenie;) I may have to do a slight crop to get the proportions right so I can fill the screen without the slight vertical stretching.

kglaser, I totally know what you mean by overuse of quotes. I've been using "Just like old times" a lot lately, but I always add random Star Wars quotes in everyday conversation. I'm used to the WTF response
