I loved the character but like other people have already said, you get him so late in the game (normally) that getting to know him better feels rushed.

I think this bodes well for him playing a big role in ME3 or ME2DLC, though. Like Oghren, Bio wouldn't let such a nice creation go unseen.

I think they have to introduce him late in the game because they didn't want to have to script explaining his presence to every NPC you try to have a conversation with.

Legion is unpopular? Actually, he's my favorite character, even though I got him last. There's something about the way he says his lines, and his whole N7 armor-hole in the chest-Shepard, Commander that just melts my heart. He's a unique geth that can talk and has been sent beyond the veil to find his hero Shepard. He's learning how to be an individual, and Shep even had to name him. He's too cute.

I like him, I just don't like the fact that since you get him so late you can't use him much and don't get as much interaction with him.

If you own the PC version you can attain him much earlier with the use of the editor. I just did Jacks recruitment mission and their are conversations done with him there. He has a lot of voice work done its just that so little people get to experience it since he is acquired so late in the game. Since I have acquired him early my gripe is not that you get him late but that their is so few conversations with him.

I use legion all the time,after you get him at least and he can be edited into the game.

He has dialog in Garrus's recruitment mission.

Legion is so popular that a lot of people would rather side with the geth than the quarians if there were a war between them.

The very nature of legion and his own people is in complete contradiction with everything we know about them, even in ME2. And you can't really say he has much personnaility. He looks cool, but that's it.

personally havent come across legion haters, opinions have been neutral to love in my experience. i like it myself, the only trouble being you get it so late, it is a "very" powerful squaddie.

Mordin and Legion seems to be the most agreed favourites amoung everyone.

And because everyone agrees, no one really feels that they really need to express this in multple love topics, etc. *cough* Tali *cough*

Legion seems to be on the top of everyone's lists, next to Mordin, but characters like Tali, Garrus, Thane, etc. are only on the top of some people's, while much lower down on others.

Legion is excellent.

The scope is there for Legion to play a big part in the 3rd game , i certainly hope that "he" returns.
