Weren't Garrus, Wrex and Tali essentially tag a longs in the first game and well and you didn't have technically have to recruit them, speaking of which need to mod a save to where wrex and garrus weren't recruited for changes in dialog hmm.

You were forced to have Tali I believe (because of Virmire, full party etc.)

Wrex and Garrus were optional.  Also please clarify second sentence, I need to know how to answer it.

Correctly if I would have suggested they were lightly connected, but I am suggesting they are disconnected and forced together later.  So in opposite world you win.

Well the fact that The Illusive Man hand picked these certain individuals to help you on your mission, that means the intersection is meaningful. He pulled dossiers for the most powerful people in the galaxy to assist you. He did not know in what way you might need them, or why you would need them. He only knew that if you were going into the unknown you must take every precaution to be successful. You may not like the intersection, or the way they are put in the story, but they are relevant to the overall story arc.

Maybe it is a weak plot, one that requires a lot of imagination to build on your own, but until we see the finale for ME3 we can't really judge if we think the tangential characters are a waste or not.

The fact that this steak cost me $25 makes the turd I take in 6 hours meaningful too.  No really we get it, it's yer dog...

I was doing the equivalent of thinking out loud, I meant I want to mod a savegame file to not have those flags checked,  so I can see how it affect their meetings in ME2.

You have a couple of valid points, you've gone way off the deep end in the drama.
You should also probably be banned for #15.

Actually whoever approved the mission and wrote the story should be banned for it.  Not my fault it's packed full of racist overtones.  That's part of the reason it's so rediculous.  Read and process then respond.  Otherwise it's not even funny when you say stupid crap it's just tragic and sad.  Image IPB

Actually, in addition to the slavery thing I thought it played into the racist idea that black men want to enslave and rape women (been reading too many unmoderated forums). Oh well, I think you're mostly right and hillarious.

IMO Jacob's Mission is less racist and more an Absolute power corrupts Absolutely thing just putting it out there.

I hear that Garrus's mission is unaffected.  Which was poor planning on their part, but Garrus would already know Shepard so they have a loophole for that.  Wrex I am uncertain, I'd be interested in this and I think I might have a save where I didn't recruit him, but I am uncertain of that.
