You had to be there...  It was funny when she said it though... For a few seconds anyway...  No, really...  Trust me!

Edit : I can't help myself... Harbinger is controlling me, forcing me to edit this...

I broke the table, she had trouble containing the girth...

and that's all I have to say about that !

FYI, jack knows about cheerleaders because she's a human, why is that so hard to grasp?

A human that grew up in a box in a lab facility and never even saw earth.... in the 25th century making a comment about a 19th century stereotype....  but yeah I see how she could have known what a cheerleader is.

You don't know your centuries do you?

ME is 22nd century
Cheerleaders are 20th century stereotypes

And Earth sports are still popular, even among many aliens. She would have plenty of chances to learn about cheerleaders after escaping.

Semantics are fun but, there is nothing to say there are cheerleaders in the 22nd century.  Sports don't all have cheerleaders.  In fact cheerleader itself is a uniquely american term.  So yeah if you wanna get into semantics...  But really Jack's character saying cheerleader was about like Gary Busey quoting an obscure Hamlet reference.  It doesn't fit.  whhore, biitch, sluut, etc... these are Jack words.   Cheerleader is like the writer put in something EA decided wasn't appropriate and edited at the last minute.

Sorry man, your argument falls flat. Cheerleaders are best know from American football, and we know American football still exists because one of those Cerberus news updates mentioned the NY Giants beating the Beijing Dragons in the superbowl. There's no reason to assume that Jack shouldn't understand the concept.

There's no reason to assume that just because there is football that there are cheerleaders. And even if there are cheerleaders in the ME universe, calling someone a cheerleader would imply Jack was exposed to cheerleaders at some point. People don't just randomly use the slang of other cultures. Jack grew up in a box. She didn't go to school, she was not exposed to cheerleaders, so logically she never would have developed that venacular.  Calling someone a cheerleader is juvenile slang as well.  Girls call other girls cheerleaders because in highschool they developed that venacular.   People tend to reach back to the roots when they are pissed off. It's why latino women chew you out in spanish even though they know you don't understand them (I know been there several times)

Yer making too many assumptions and using them to justify it instead of realising that the fact that you have to "IMAGINE" why it makes sense is the very reason it's on the list of things that don't have sense.

LOL sorry you're the one making assumptions here.

Jack has been exposed to human culture. If she has no culture of her own, she will likely draw on something she learned later in life.

Where did you learn this?  Oh yeah yer just assuming it.  That's the point.  Without you "imagining" how it all fits together it makes no sense on it's own.  Period.  End of discussion.  Thanks for coming.  Hope you learned something.

Indeed, I learned you have no debate skills and will use any possible inconsistency you see, no matter how slight or far fetched, to attempt to troll.

Debate?  I thought this was just you makin random crap up to justify your opinion on how Jack might possibly know about cheerleaders and me pointing out that because you have to "IMAGINE" why or how she knows the word, let alone to use the venacular in that way, that it doesn't make any logical sense.

It's a tough concept for most people I don't blaim you for not understanding it.  But here's the crayon map version for you:

If you have to make dream thoughts about it then that means it's make-believe.

You get it?  All the justification in the world you can "DREAM" up that "MAKES" sense doesn't change the fact that without your "IMAGINATION" it doesn't make it's own sense.

None of this is sinking in?

Because of the cheerleader "inconsistency" I will return my game to GameSpot for $15 and get a game that is much more believable.

Do you have any suggestions on games with proper cheerleader consistency?

I see that some of the points might actually have potential for improvement. But it would be wise to present them in a more neutral tone.

Because it's so important to be proper and popularly appealing when ragging on things that should be obviiously stupid?

Just stop, please, you're making the human race look just awful.

Either you're one of the worst trolls in the history of bridge trolling, or you truly are Gary B.

You poor man, you would have thought the motor cycle ordeal would have killed you, what a shame.

I was actually looking for another Shooter/RPG hybrid, but I'll take that under advisement.

I guess I'll just have to deal with it until then. I mean, she is only forced to say it two times in a 40 hour playthrough, but those are two seconds of my life I'll never get back.
