My 3rd Char is a Sentinel and i planned on:
4 Tech-Armor
4 Area-Reave
4 Overload
4 Passive Skill

So i just thought, that Cryo-Blast would be maybe interesting, but until now i havent hampered with the Cryo-Skills.
Can someone tell me his/her experience with it? :)

Why've you put Reave on a Sentinel? What are you going to do for ammo?

Cryo *Blast* isn't bad. I'd definitely build it up on a character that doesn't have Pull Field. But on your character you've taken Reave, which can also incapcitate organics while it's dissolving them.

I love Cryo Blast. It's a staple on all my playthroughs. Easiest way to stop a krogan in my opinion

I take Garrus with me. He will have Area-Overload and Group-AR-Ammo.
2nd member will be either Samara for some Biotics, or some tank like Grunt.

Area-Reave is mainly for decimating mass-armor.
Warp is nice, but you need to waste 3 points on Throw and it only affects 1 target (unless you count the explosion)
Area-Reave is fast recovered, strips mass-armor and regenerates me.
btw: im playing on Insanity (so: more Armor ^^)

Maybe i will try Talis Power or Geth Shields or some fun; will see after some testing.
The question is, if Cryo-Blast is any useful. I would need many field-tests for such a power, so that i know if its overall useul or not.

Cryo blast is an incredibly useful skill. It essentially has the same properties as biotics like pull in that it puts the enemies into ragdoll mode. While in ragdoll, they take 100% extra weapon damage and are strongly effected by force impacts. Also, putting husks in ragdoll instantly kills them (so if you pull a husk it dissolves in mid-air, and if you cryo blast one it instantly shatters).

A good place to see how this works is on Grunt's recruitment mission. Take Zaeed or Garrus along for concussive blast. At the section with the stream of charging Krogan berserkers, strip their armour, cryo them and then hit them with a concussive blast. Watching a krogancicle bounce off into the distance and fall to its doom never stops being hilarious.

You should definitely have 1 talent in cryo blast its awesome. Also wtf reave when you have warp? Warp or armor piercing rounds imo.

Probably because he wants to max out cryo blast. throw is the skill hes going to leave 1 point in.

Its a life saver on the harder difficulties. Krogan and vanguards are annoying and dangerous up close, so I like to freeze them and retreat a couple of steps back. Then just lift them and throw them off of buildings. Btw this is as an Adept with Mordin having the cryo. But its equally useful on a Sentinel

It's obviously just personal preference, but it doesn't seem like you really need more than one point in Overload as a Sentinel.  Just like the Adept, the Sentinel is a squad heavy class and you can just bring those who work the best for any particular mission.  Heavy blue sons or Geth?  Bring Zaeed for group disruptor and Miranda, problem solved.

Graunt:

It's cheap, but you don't really need ANY points in Overload for missions that don't need it - just respec to maximum Overload on missions where it's useful. For going to Collectors, no points are necessary unless you want to unlock other powers. It's a cheesy way to make the game easier - you're essentially working with points 2 to 3 levels higher than you actually have, since you're not putting ANY points towards powers that are useless for that mission.

@Roxlimn: Yes and especially, when your Character is from ME1 and you have the Game-Accomplished achievement. You should have about 50-60k eezo and thats more then enough for the whole game with ALL upgrades and several uses of respec and changing the extra-power (not counting the eezo you find in-game :)
