Anyone think Bioware should add female Turians, Salarians, and Krogen for ME3??

Umm, there is a female Krogan on Tuchanka by the Shaman. And BW originally meant to make a female Turian in ME1, but they didn't have enough time and money to do so. As for Salarian, I don't know.
No, he's male.
He's just their representative.

And while female Krogan would be... weird (with the redundant organs and all), I can understand not going through the trouble of trying to animate and incorporating them.

I think they have an excellent opportunity to introduce females with both the Krogan and the Salarians. After all, the codex indicates that Krogan females proven to produce viable offspring are the ones most prized and protected, but that's hardly going to be all females. I can't imagine that they're any less combat-oriented than their male counterparts, so female Krogan mercs or battlemasters wouldn't be out of line. Salarian females are, as stated, politically powerful - if you're attempting to rally the galaxy to fight a massive, imminent threat and you're interested in bringing the Salarians on board, who exactly would you be negotiating with?

specialy turian women, since they're alowed to serve in the military.
But I'm not sure about the Krogan; they seem like a species that doesn't like female warriors.
it is specifically said that females warlords are a rarity (when talking about Shiagur it is always stressed that she is female)
So fighting Krogan females would seem a bit strange.
(I still think that Krogan with the shaman is female: can any of you tell a female Galapagos lizzard from a male when looking at them (specially if you put clothes on them))

They say he's not a female but the envoy to the female clan.

That is not a freakin female krogan.
Good lord, people, learn to read.
And no, I'd rather they spend most of the their time making sure the game has no loose ends and is a great game. No female other species, no gay LI.
What is with you getting all defensive whenever somebody brings up gay love interests. It's not like Bioware would make them mandatory. If you don't want a gay love interest, don't pursue one. I don't see why anyone should care whether or not they exist in the game though.

doesn't mean the envoy isn't female
I could be wrong, but I thought the conversation went something along the lines of:
Shepard: "Who is that?"
Shaman: "He is the envoy to the female clans."
Though, it would be curious that if it were female, why they would have an envoy to the female clans and not a diplomat like all the others.

Because we consider homosexuality an affront to nature and barring that, good taste. Other than that, I think the majority of people just don't want to see time and resources wasted on something such a vast minority is pushing for.Borschtbeet wrote...

Consider how unique a model that Grunt is. The art department had to spend considerable amount of time modeling him. Miranda definitely got special treatment as did Illusive Man. Mordin is also pretty unique with all the scars he has. Even some minor characters got special treatment. Aria is pretty unique looking,
So the producers should consider that when they create some special characters in ME3 that they consider adding a Krogan Female, a Turian Female and a Salarian Female.
I m personally hoping for that one of new squadmembers in ME3 is a Turian Female. They should make her a Spectre just to make things interesting.

Well, we may have already seen some female Salarians. They're not going to be sporting a big pair of boobs seeing that they're reptilian and lay eggs.
Argonians disagree

Hmmm, yet I guess you're totally cool with human/alien romances then. Nothing unnatural about that, right?
I think people who enjoy Bioware games enjoy the level of interactive freedom we have with the game's numerous characters and plot. Adding gay romance options adds depth even if it's not something we have an interest in pursuing.
Only reason you consider it a "waste of resources"(as if a 20 second romance cutscene takes months of development time) is because you have a pole up your butt about homosexuality for some reason.
