Female Krogan as a LI. Now that would be a challenge.

It would be like Morinth where you die, but it'd be worth it every time.

Also, regarding female krogan; Isn't the dead krogan under the blanket during Mordin's loyalty mission said to be female? The body seems to be slimmer than usual.

I agree with several people in the thread.
The lack of krogan, salarian and drell females are justified, but it's about time we meet some turians.
Garrus also implies that it is not uncommon for turian women to be in the military, so it's not like they're all stuck back on their homeworld/colonies either.

I don't really mind either way, but it would probably enhance the universe with more female members of the e.g. Turians and Krogan species.

Though I guess seing male Krogan and Salarians deal with breeding issues can be interesting in itself.

I could imagine a female salarian escaping the homeworld, not wanting to be pent up. Could be an interesting story event. Would they be recaptured and sent back home?

(I still think that Krogan with the shaman is female: can any of you tell a female Galapagos lizzard from a male when looking at them (specially if you put clothes on them))

Did you try to talk to him past his first line?  It's pretty clear he's male.
