Tali's logs on Haestrom and her exoneration on the paragon route.
"Tali, about what your father said, what he did... You deserved better."
-"I got better, Shepard. I got you."
The conversation between the asari and her salarian father, he simply wants to be remembered.
That krogan talking about his son and how he wants to raise him himself.
Meeting Wrex again on Tuchanka.
"Shepard, My friend!"
And Conrad of all people starting a charity in Shepard's name. Conrad.Image IPB

All great ones mentioned so far, totally agree with them, but I'll try for a couple ones that haven't been mentioned yet.

First, as fun and hilarious as it was shooting Conrad in the foot(and it was). Helping him and choosing the paragon option that he had actually helped you out, which he replies with the meekest and most sincere "Really?" was both funny and heartwarming at the same time. Makes me feel having a slightly idiotic super fan isn't such a bad thing, especially when you hear later of his charity as Azint mentioned above.

Second, the krogan scout who was experimented on. It was sad to hear him describe how he'll never have kids and the experimentation was his only way to help his people. Then convincing him to return to the camp always warms my heart, I guess I have a thing for big ol lizards.

well... for me when the Collector General finally regains control.. and looks up weakly at Harbinger who totally chatises him, and the poor guy seems to realize whats happening to him as he slowly turns to see the explosion consuming his ship...

or perhaps Shepards death scene its very touching particularly when:

Shepard:You've got to tell them!

Joker YOU tell them! your not doing this to me again!

that was pretty emotional :(

or when Joker is looking at all the caskets, or the subtlty of when its just Joker looking out the window seeing he Reapers you can feel his revenge towards them for the loss of his Commander...

Yeah, the Tali Father moment and ensueing hug if you have any sliver of Paragon in you.

Also, EDI and Joker after the Collector attack. The AI cares about her crew, and alot. More so, about Joker. Seeing Joker making a none witty insulting comment for once about EDI. "Thanks for asking" you can almost feel like Joker views her as a person now.

When Garrus is in the Captain's Cabin, and he's trying so hard, and Shepard touches his scars after getting him to let everything go and be more than a friend to her.

That was like, awwww, crap, I love that big Turian (snif).

Ok well, i will admit that i am a pretty damn emotional guy,  so many moments i felt deeply in ME2, i also cant remember the last time ive played a game where ive laughed so much, and never before has a game been able to make me cry...  i played ME2 and watched king kong over a weekend, my cheeks were very moist that weekend!

Jack's paragon romance (scene and convo)

touring Jack's cell

Jack anxiously playing with the button to blow up her childhood prison

Jack's comment on the citadel... harsh

convincing Miranda to go talk to her sister

Miranda romance conversation - Dont die damnit, you promise me!

when Garrus almost died on Omega... i was swearing up and down! actually telling myself that this did not just happen... and then the cough and gargle... its still gut wrenching... and i think im on my fifth playtrough...

when Shep and Garrus joke about his scars... there is just something about that, how the whole thing is voiced and animated, i always chuckle, even though i know exactly what they are about to say.

getting Sidonis to say why he betrayed Garrus and then letting Garrus take the shot...
Sidonis: no more sleepless nights...
Garrus: for both of us.
Sidonis: ...thank you
* headshot *

Garrus Romance...  awkward and sweet

Tali's hug interupt

Tali romance... he VA is great, and damnit, she is adorable!

Tali paragon exoneration speech and rally crowd options with Kal and Veetor

the email from the the "i remember me" girl in ME1
..actually, most emails from the people youve helped were great.

Legion and Tali conflict paragon resolution...  the way Shep smiles when Tali gives it non-classified data in good faith.. i had the same smile

the pile of dead in the collector ship... imagining these people having lives, and having these lives taken away in what i can only imagine would be a horrifying and gruesome way

Legion's playback from the geth archives

when Legion trust you enough to tell you about their future, no geth will ever be alone...

EDI and Joker

Samara when she talks about Morinth after killing her

Wrex/Shep reunion on Tuchanka... *shoving people out of their way, running to shake eachother hands*.. all that was missing is the song "chariots of fire" playing and whole sceen in slow-motion!

when Lia'ra tells what she did for you, and how she thinks you would hate her for doing so

the Rachni queen message

being nice to Conrad

the Salarian and asari daughter at Illium gift shop

the Turian and Asari conversation at the Citadel souvenir shop

the Krogan father on tuchanka

Batarian plague victim in the slums, and again in mordin's clinic after the plague is cured

Krogan scout paragon option...  with Garrur or Tali as squad,  i prefer the male shep version of it however, there is something about how Meer says Badass that just.. works!

Charr and his poetry... damn that Krogan has got game!

Mordin's conversation over the dead female Krogan

having everyone survive the suicide mission, including crew... i thank my completionist tendencies for never having a single member die on me yet... altho first time through, i see Lillith melt and then it moves to Kelly.. my heart skipped a few... but Shep got her out... /relief

and last that i can think of  off the top of my head for tonight,  the reaper fleet...  this isnt going to end well, and i have a feeling that my Shep may not survive ME3's ending

So many great ones here that I totally agree with. So many great moments in this game.

I will admit the many Tali moments are just too awesome and heartwarming to even describe. ( Hugging her is probably at the top I'll admit. ) One of my favorite moments still remain when, after everything else is said and done you proudly tell the most powerful Quarians of the entire fleet, "With all due respect Admiral, I didn't represent one of your people, I represented one of mine!"

The Jack romance tender moments are also pretty much up there, especially with how much you have to work through just to get her to open up.

There are a couple that I don't think have been mentioned though, or at least should be mentioned more. ;)

Getting Liara to talk to you about what happened to her. It's clear she's still hurting so much, I just wanted to hug her some more. (DAMN YOU BIOWARE! You should have given us more tender Liara LI moments after that! )

One of the most endearing moments in the game that wasn't mentioned was sharing that bottle of Brandy with Dr. Chakwas. It's SUCH a great scene, especially if you manage to get her to confess why she really did join you, turns out she still cares a great deal for Joker, and for you.

More of an awwwww moment, but when you do choose to Romance Tali and she gives you her Speech about how she watched you face on <lists all your tough choices>, always wondered if you will ever be able to see who she was past her helmet. The way she says "this". Almost as if she hates it. Made me go awwww. Felt like romancing her.. was... the right thing to do.

OMG! You have to post that one if you can! That was probably the most emotional quests in the original game. It would be beyond awesome to be able to hear from her again for those of us who don't play colonists. ( My ME1 saves are Earthborn and Spacer. )

Now that I think about it, you probably get one for every origin, though I never got one on my Earthborn Shepard because she always ends up killing the guy. Probably be nice to get all of the e-mails that people get for their origins. ... Though really Talitha is the only one I would care to hear back from.

Kelly Chambers' striptease, Hell yeah!

Jokes aside, I liked when my Renegade Shepard was in his cabin all alone and he looked at the photo and even tho he had red eyes and scars all over, he made a bittersweet smile :-)

Oh and all the Tali and Garrus and Thane and Liara breakdown stuff ofcause! I thought all the scenes when you met a friend from ME1 was awesome! Mostly Garrus tho Image IPB

there you go.

From: Talitha

Shepard, i don't know if you remember me. I had a gun and you stopped me from hurting myself.
My doctors say I am doing better. One of them works with the people you work for. He told me he could get a message to you.

I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't talked to me that day, but the doctors are helping me.
I am getting better. They put me in a special school, and they say I am doing good. the doctors say that other people are getting taken like i was.
i hope you can help them like you helped me.

Thank you.
Talitha

A certain conversation made me melt. "Do these units have a soul?"
D'AWWWWWWW!
Hugging Tali gets some major d'awww points as well. As do the romances for both Garrus and Thane.
There's also some of the random NPC conversations that are surprisingly heartwarming (and also make me more then a little sad, on occasion). Like on Illium. That one Salarian and that one Asari. You know, that Salarian that's going to buy a gift for his love? Put a big, happy smile on my face... of course, then it also made me sad.

Those were touching. But the "Do these units have a soul?" Got to me.

Wrex: "Shepard! My friend!"

He was the only old teammate not joining my crew who actually acted like he was happy to see me. He also had the only good reason for not coming with me. He is needed on Tuchanka, and I respected his decision.

Shepard: "Come on Tali'Zorah vas Normandy. Let's go home."

The whole Tali loyalty quest is great, but that line hit me.

Mordin: "Had to be me. Someone else might make the wrong decision."

The entire exchange over the body of the female Krogan. I liked him before as comic relief, but this solidified him as one of the deepest character in a crew of multidimensional characters. He is funny, and smart, and ruthless, and has an ego, but he also won't shrink from responsibility. The buck stops here.

If you're a Spacer you get one from Mom, which is nice.

Mordin is great. His loyalty mission and the dialogue after on the Normandy gives you a lot of insight about his personality and Salarian psychology too.

As a foot note, his favourite nephew dialogue was awesome. "Give face to Galaxy, make it personal again."

When you do the Conrad Verner reunion line as paragon-- you get this:

Shepard: "She wasn't a cop. She was a deep cover operative from a terrorist cell. I'd never have found her if not for you."

Conrad (almost teary-eyed): "...really?"

My heart melted.
