I hate to be a parrot, but definitely hugging Tali. I've left a save there, just so I can do it whenever I want if I'm feeling down. And on the note of Tali's loyalty mission, there's that quarian researcher delivering her final log, shouting that she loved her Jona before getting cut down by the geth.

And seeing Wrex. BioWare pulled seeing him masterfully, I got all these warm fuzzy feelings when the Mass Effect menu music started playing and he went 'Shepard, my friend!'. Finding out he's pretty much grand overlord of the krogan race, and the fact he has a friggin' throne. Pretty much the greatest moment in the history of ever.

Oh, and talking with Legion, pressing him into why he used N7 armour to patch himself up, and his face-things going up and him going 'data unavailable'. It was surprisingly cute.

Tali's loyalty quest, hands-down. First and only time I've ever cried playing a video game. Incredibly touching.

The Krogan father on Tuchanka was both funny and sad, and it made me think well and hard about the genophage.



Also, after Tali's recruit mission. "Let's go home, Talizorah Vas Normandy..... [upgrade popup] NOW WHAT'S THIS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!"

Yeah. Seeing Wrex greet you like that on Tuchanka... it just made me so happy he didn't die on Virmire in my playthrough

-using the paragon option on the news reporter, who then realises that her reputation has been pretty much destroyed

-or using the renegade option and punching her in the face

- Wrex reunion.
- Telling Garrus he always was an ugly SOB and seeing him tease Shepard back about not getting hit on.
- Hugging Tali.
- Miranda's loyalty quest and seeing her reunite with her sister.
- The star chart seller on Ilium while doing Shiala's quest. She broke down crying man...
- Telling Tali we can go back and get her exiled if she wants.
- Drinking with Dr. Chakwas. Sad to hear Jenkins's name again.

Man this game has so many great moments. It's so much more cinematic.

Seeing the poor Collector General at the end broke my heart. It just looked so pathetic, and as if it was aware of how pathetic it was.



At least it did a good thing with it's final moments, sending us tactical data on the Reapers, which we see at the end on the data pad.



Poor guy. The Reapers will pay for what they did to the Protheans.

Not heart warming, but it made me sad when Samara confesses that Morinth is her daughter, and that she became a justicar to kill her.

I was like "awww, let's go get drunk with Jacob on the Citadel!"

Quite a lot, though its not surprising. Her loyalty quest is pretty much full of them. Easy to pick.

Oh yes, the Tali-hug.

Convincing her to meet her sister.



Also Jack going through her room was quite cool.

You can't really see the smile in that picture though. There are times during that conversation where he looks like he's grinning triumphantly...

I echo everything already said here.. But the one scene that got me a lot though it was not heart warming was on Samara's mission when you are going through Nef's room and talking to her mother. I could not see how you could not want some revenge and justice for Nef and her mother.
