I read both The Stolen Throne and the Calling, and a couple things don't make sense. Both involve Alistair.

If Alistair is indeed the child of the elven mage Fiona, who wasn't even supposed to be TOLD he was Maric's son (nor was anyone else)... how did he and Loghain and the rest find out?

... and why is his half-sister, presumably Fiona's daughter, human?
