When you import a ME2 character, all decisions u made for him/her gets carried over into ME2, even the weapons too...and which weapon you receive advance training in.
My question therefore is, since special weapons...like the revenant, claymore, require certain plot points before they get unlocked. Do they get carried over supposed you had acquire them before when you import you ME2 character?
Special weapon carry over into New Game+?

All weapons (special weapon from collector ship included), your armor, and skills are all there in NG+.
Your paragon/renegade, choices you made in previous play-through, and all upgrades are reset.

This is bit confusing, if you choose to continue your career you keep everything, however if you start a new game with a ME2 character you do not have weapon upgrades or armor upgrades or the special weapon from the collector ship, at least in my experience. However, you have all your skills.

So meaning, for example, you did receive the claymore training...so NG+, you retain that skill, but you don't get the weapon in your armory until the collector ship?
I imported a character who had AR training. When I started Freedom's Progress, he's outfitted with it.

Actually you do keep the special weapon in NG+. My Infiltrator started with her Widow.

Just in NG+ when you get to the Collectors' ship you don't get the weapon option come up.
