 Ok, I've got the configuration correct so that I can see my old level 45 character from ME1 in the Import box on ME2. I can select the character and tell ME2 to import the save. However, every time I initiate the import, it flashes to a mass relay screen and then ME2 locks up. Can anyone help?

Note that I played one new-built character all the way to the end of ME2 (I've seen the reaper cut scene) so my system can handle the game.
