Now after all the hype is gone and with it the weekly game news, its very disappointing  how scarce the information is
We still have no idea how / if Hammerhead will fit to the game, even if it was said "shortly after" ,
And that all the info about Kasumi was gathered by players who searched the game files instead
Bioware was full of how the continued value of Cerberus Network will be for the player

I belive we deserve some kind of official clarification  and some proper announcements as it was used to be prior to lunch, even if its work in progress

Its only 10 minutes to 11 in them morning - most likely if there is going to be an update it will be later on in the day. Look here in England it is GMT time and it is 11am

In Canada it could be several times dependent on where the crew is stationed.

2:51 am PST Pacific

3:51 am MST Mountain

4:51 am CST Central

5:51 am Eastern

Just be patient dude - it gonna come eventually.

Mass Effect 2 hasn't even been out for a month yet and you're already writing the Cerberus Network off? Wow.

Sure, we should be getting some info about the Hammerhead sometime soon I think, but you can't really blame this whole Kasumi situation on Bioware. They will announce Kasumi when they're ready to do so, if they haven't dropped her altogether, I mean who knows really? They've never mentioned anything about her. Sure, they've obviously done quite a lot of work on her already and it seems very likely that she will be released, but I'm finding it funny that so many people expect her to be announced or even released very soon. Maybe she will be released in say October, who knows really? They didn't confirm Zaeed until they were ready to do so, despite that Norwegian magazine and I'm sure it will be the same thing with Kasumi.

I liked both the armour and the shotgun. I am sorry, it's probably because I'm a fanboy. :( Gonna go and whine about stuff that I'm getting for free now!

Oh and that scanning thing! WOW, IS IT NOT BORING?

lol does the OP realize most DLC is released months after the game launch date?

just play your NG+ or don't, but don't make threads trying to get Bioware to accommodate your personal schedule. good christ.

I'm almost done with the game. I would really appreciate being able to buy some new DLC before I finish it.

I never got to play bring down the sky because I finished the game months before it was released.

Personally i did 5 playthrough's of ME1 3 due to DLCs xD

@OP just be patient man, most of the free DLC's they released was quite useful and added the extra touch to the game eg. Normandy Crash Site. I'd rather wait for a polished DLC than have one coming out instantly and having many glitches, bugs etc.

I support the OP here. He didn't demand the release of aforementioned DLCs. He's asking for info on the aforementioned DLCs. I would also like to hear from BioWare with regards to these 2 DLCs.

All i really want is solid info. I understand why developers are often coy about their plans, it just pisses me off sometimes. Why can't they just say what they're planning, get the excitement up...give me a reason to hold on to the game. I was about to trade in Dragon Age until i heard about the expansion, now i'm in the same boat with Mass Effect 2.

Let's face it. ALL of Biowares' DLC for ME1, ME2 & DA:O has been awful. Not one piece of dlc lasting more than an hour, no real rewards, poor value for money. Their free content for ME2 so far has been pointless too (it's free great) although it was still terrible. DA:O Awakening looks too be offering some great content, lets hope ME2 gets the same treatment.

Yeah, Zaeed was terrible and useless. So was Shale in Dragon Age....

I don't think it's fair to always use time it takes to finish a quest as a measurement of whether it's worth the money or not. If so, then pretty much no single player game is worth the money compared to Dragon Age these days. E.g. Assassin's Creed 2 only took me 20 hours to finish, so it shouldn't have cost more than 20 bucks, right? But I digress.

But if you didn't like Zaeed, then I guess you won't like Kasumi either, so you can probably sell your copy without missing out on any important stuff. Or perhaps you want to wait for the other pointless dlc, the Hammerhead. That one will probably be released earlier at least.

I don't always judge based solely on time. If any of the DA:O dlc had been awesome but lasted 30 minutes...fine. Sadly they offered no real excitement or reward for your time or money. Shale was actually quite well done, he was integrated nicely into the story & was fun to play, Zaeed on the other hand...

They say there will be more. Perhaps "Thanks, man" would be a better response than "dont want it!" Maybe in a month they will release some thing you love.

Complaining about free content....

They simply might not have solid info yet. I would much rather they waited until they had definate confirmation on whats going to be released and when rather than saying something is coming then having to issue a second statement saying "no its not but we will release it at some point". Look at the fiasco with the DA:O dlc. If they hadnt mentioned the hammerhead no one would be ****ing about not knowing anything now.

Who's to say they have info.. sure the developers may have deadlines but doesn't it make sense to actually KNOW before announcements. After all they get punished for not making announcements but they would get more punished for making an incorrect announcement.

For the sake of the argument
Bioware stated that the Hammerhead DLC will be relised "shortly after" or in a next couple of weeks, so in my books that aint October.

What i would expect from an company that claims to be proffesional and all that At least some officlal information instead of tid bits of info and speculation we got so far.
So we can have an idea what we can expect, and if you dont have some solid info in this stage of development then i should indeed look forward to October

In not asking for a DLC right now i only ask for some word about things thy alredy announced but without any kind of futher clarification

As for the rest, im glad some of you so vigorously support yours or ours bellowed game developer, but you are still a costumers, now act like one.

For example;
How thy intend to implement the Hammerhead into the original game and if we gonna get extra vehicle missions with the dlc
Will we be able to explore planets with it or its just for combat sequences
-will the vehicle open the level 5 (Garage) of the Normandy for players, since we have no entry atm, shame if not

Will Kasumi have its own conversation lines or be just like Zaeed, gonna be a LI ? is she an close relative of Garret  ?

In this rate, people will get prolly more info from looking at the game files than from the devs, Its supposed to be free anyway so i doubt a bit more talk about it gonna change the numbers

Yes, complaining about free content. I'm sure you'd be ABSOLUTELY ECSTATIC if someone walked up to you in the street and handed you a broomstick covered in feces.

Because it's free!

I'm sure Priestly would say something along the lines of "Info is given on a Need - to -know Basis".

They don't need to layout their itinerary of DLC plans for you simply because you've had the luxury of beating ME2 10 different ways, ME2 hasn't even been out for 3 weeks, and we already got the Cerberus armor/shotgun pack, that came not two weeks after ME2 launched with Zaeed and the Normandy Crash pack.
