They don't need to layout their itinerary of DLC plans for you simply because you've had the luxury of beating ME2 10 different ways, ME2 hasn't even been out for 3 weeks, and we already got the Cerberus armor/shotgun pack, that came not two weeks after ME2 launched with Zaeed and the Normandy Crash pack.

The shotgun and the Normandy Crash was sorta nice for something free, I suppose. :3

Hah, yes, that was quite a debacle. :D

And OP, and the people crying out for 'solid information' - did you stop and think that maybe there is no 'solid information' yet to be had? Maybe the DLC is not done yet, maybe they're waiting on certification, maybe they found a bug they didn't anticipate, and want to finish/confirm/fix it BEFORE officially announcing a release date.

After what happened with RtO, I say let them take their sweet time. Knowing little bits of info won't make it come any faster. Take a deep breath. :D

Pretty sad you can beat a game in 10 different ways within 3 weeks after release.

The worst thing about RTO was that it was leaked, available to pirates, pulled, and then withheld for several weeks - after which the exact same DLC was officially released again, without any changes to it.

It somewhat deserves it's own thread, but I'm not going to start it. Things like that just makes me sad and angry.

then why announce that DLC in the first place ? and put a relative time table of a couple of weeks after lunch as an fact..Its missleading

As for Chris im without a doubt we will get all the info..at the day the thing will be on the Cerberus Network,

Well, armor/weapon/vehicle/whatever DLCs are worthless, whether they're free or not.

The only DLCs worthy of attention are mission/companion DLCs. Unfortunately, Bioware hasn't had a lot of success with those, judging by ME1 (I don't mean commercial success). BTDS was mediocre, while Pinnacle Station was outright bad. Normandy Crash Site wasn't too bad but it was so miniscule that one could hardly call it a mission DLC. Their DAO DLCs weren't any good, either, except Stone Prisone, which was obviously part of the original game pulled out to  encourage people to buy new copies.

Anyway, if they're going to release some interesting DLCs before ME3, I'm all for that. But I wouldn't exactly hold my breath.

What annoys me with the lack of info - and this is by far not exclusive to Bioware - is that such annoyances are so easily delt with. On larger companies, assign a person to keep track of such thing and keep the community updated.

They are under no obligation to do so, of course. We can't demand it. But we can want it and we can talk about it and we can ask for it. Smaller companies have had continuous contact with their communities for years. Stop having secrets and we'll all feel better, I think. Fans whine because they don't understand, or are kept in the dark. Companies and employees whine because they're not allowed to say what they want, when they want to say it.

We aint asking for a fixed date, but at least something more that the name of the dlc.

If thy dont know by now how Hammerhead gonna fit into the game and how much content  thy are planing for it, then thy havent even started working on that bloddy thing

We had quiet some info about Ostagar before it came on, we have none, zero, null about the next Me 2 DLC, not even the basics.
I dont think thats OK Image IPB

You're not referring to ME2's quality or length or atleast I hope not are you? Because most games can be beaten 10 different ways in a week. Some people simply have much more time on their hands, or their students with a low workload, or simply have no job at all. I for one, with my workschedule just barely beat ME2 for the first time 3 days ago.

I think he just wants some type of estimated release schedule. Most game companies usually detail there dlc several months in advance of release. Bioware has not done that in the recent past. With pinnacle station they just released it without any pr. It just showed up on live. It wasn't even mentioned on the website.

I doubt they will ship the Hammerhead without some extra side quests. I mean, what other use could it have?

Yeah, there's two different ways of handling being impatient about things like this.

There's chicken-avatar guy who keeps posting about this and fishing for questions to be answered in those other threads.

And then, of course, on the other end of the impatient spectrum, there's illusive man actually complaining about it like Bioware is doing something wrong.

I think perhaps the chicken may have it a bit more right than the illusive man. That's just opinion though.

Dude, you don't have to panic until they make big promises, go silent for 17 months, and then drop DLC without warning. If that happens, THEN you can ****.

The whole Shale thing pissed me off in DA:O, but now I realize that we had it pretty good, considering that Shale at least was a complete character, with dialogue and interactions. Compare that to the soulless, meaningless air-hoggin' existance of Zaeed.

Yay, free stuff that is never gonna get used, yaay.

It is still free.

They say there will be more. Perhaps "Thanks, man" would be a better response than "dont want it!" Maybe in a month they will release some thing you love.

Complaining about free content....

Yes, complaining about free content. I'm sure you'd be ABSOLUTELY ECSTATIC if someone walked up to you in the street and handed you a broomstick covered in feces.

Because it's free!

I would simply say no i dont want the damn stick.

Whether or not you like the shotgun and armour they didnt just crap it out. It would have taken time and resources to create (probably not much but still).
