Meaning, if we took this "Full Game" of yours, and ADDED certain things to it, it would suddenly become "NOT a full game".

I do not follow. It is late for me but elaborate please. I might end up in bed before you do but I'll bookmark this to read it later.

What if the game shipped exactly as it did, except there's 3 extra systems, with one more N7 mission in each, and on one of the planets in one of those systems, when you tried to land there you got a message that said "You cannot land here because you do not have the Hammerhead Vehicle"?

Wouldn't that be only adding to the game, not taking anything away?

What I was getting at and sorry for not being concise enough was, well for example in some of the missions to progress the story in ME1 the vehicles were integral to the mission and going thru the story. So for example if I tried to go thru the MU4 relay and got a message telling me I needed to wait for the Hammerhead to come out I would be pissed and rightfully so.
I would still be a little pissed if I was off exploring and found a N7 that told me I had to wait. To me there is no need to even have that system in the game if there is no use for it. Just a waste of fuel and probes and credits are tough enough to come by.

Lol, you bumped this from 10 days ago?

So this is what ... the 4th thread on the front page talking about Hammerhead and it supposedly/presumably coming soon this week?

I did not want to bump that other thread but after getting the new patch for pc I now have vehicle controlls under key bindings in the options. Jump Boost and Mines. Sounds like fun.

Sorry I double checked. Under the keyboard commands it is "Mine" so I guess maybe we will be digging with our awsome hover tank of doom...

Companies have learned that if they give you information that is 90% true and 10% undetermined they will in turn be attacked for being big flat liars.

I am one of the players that was mentioned earlier in this thread ( I only run through a game once ). I finished the game around 50 hours, so that for Me unless there is new content I am done with ME2. BW already has Our money, so They might not have much reason to satisfy all of Us customers! Unless They are going to try to placate Us until They come up with something new that makes Us pony up more Cash.

This is just MHO

I think we are very spoiled, I also want more DLC, but we have to agree that BW did provide 3 DLC and patch..... for PC, as if XBox is not buged. So new content is coming in a timly fasion and we should not complain. But any info woul be nice.

If we look at DA:O forum then it is full of comunication from BW staff, while here it feels very much "user only".

So let's not complain much about it, both sides are correct in some ways, because if we will cry for DLC or info we will not get it anyway, so get yourself another game and play it untill next few ME2 DLC will come out.

This thread was last posted in around 11 hours ago, and the complaining stopped about then.

I'd go read the "Hammerhead" thread if you want to know why. Unless some new revelation comes to bear, I think most everyone is done complaining for the moment, at least for the next 60 hours.

I really don't understand why someone who doesn't like the idea of having butter on their waffles can seriously condone the use of cream. I mean, butter IS cream, only with some salt in it. In fact, you could just as easily use unsalted butter.

But are you going to do it right now, or wait until tomorrow night to complain if Hammerhead DOESN'T get released?

... that would really seem like the best moment to do it if you're going to.

The issue isn't one of whether they release it or not. The thread isn't about getting the DLC, it's about getting INFO. And yes, ME2 forum is apparently devoid of admin presence, but that's true of BW in general lately, besides trying to hype up DA:A.

They make me a sales pitch for a game promising free DLC, and a month later all I've seen is 2 DLC's (I count Normandy crash and Zaeed as one, as were both same day just separate files), of which the armor/shotgun was of little value, and not a peep out of them about any of it in 2+ weeks. Heck yeah I'm going to start questioning BW!!! Granted, I woulda bought the game anyway, regardless of their sales pitch. But they were the one to not release it all at once and then shoot their mouths off about how awesome all this free DLC would be...

While it would be great to get more info, It's less than a month since the game was released. Supporting a game post launch with DLC doesn't actually mean you've got a new pack to play every couple weeks.

All else being equal, not as many people would be ansy.

The fact that it's 3 or 4 completely seperate sources say that significant DLC is coming THIS WEEK, one of which saying it's coming TOMORROW, and we STILL HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING.

THAT'S why so many people are ansy.

Oh man.  I think wars have started over less!  Maybe thats why they are called "sappers" instead of "miners".  What would be sweet if you can "Mine" people for you know valuable resources...like mulch.

At this point, I really sympathize with the "whiners" too much to be bothered by the "whining", so complain away.

At least about the lack of info - I wouldn't complain about the release date itself whatever it is, because I honestly don't know how long it takes to make this kind of DLC in the first place. They may have gotten it done super-fast for all I know.

But I do know that this wall of silence is a ticking time-bomb. They could either come and announce that it's here very soon, in which case it will explode with joy.

Or they could not saying anything in the next 20 hours, in which case it will still probably explode ... but in a completely different way. ... That'll sure be an interesting day on the forums.

That'll be a hellstorm alright.

They have to be under order to say nothing right now because it's about to hit, right? Why else would they say nothing, not even "no"?

"Concentrate," hissed Zaphod, "on his name."
"What is it?" asked Arthur.
"Zaphod Beeblebrox the Fourth."
"What?"
"Zaphod Beeblebrox the Fourth. Concentrate!"
"The Fourth?"
"Yeah. Listen, I'm Zaphod Beeblebrox, my father was Zaphod Beeblebrox the Second, my grandfather Zaphod Beeblebrox the Third..."
"What?"
"There was an accident with a contraceptive and a time machine. Now concentrate!"

I dunno I just thought it was fitting.
