This is the perfect sentiment for how I feel right now.

That being said, all someone at BW would have to do to make me feel better is lift a finger - so-to-speak.

They have raised a finger. It is the one between you index and ring finger...

While it would be great to get more info, It's less than a month since the game was released. Supporting a game post launch with DLC doesn't actually mean you've got a new pack to play every couple weeks.

It is if you say there will be a new DLC in a couple weeks and three weeks go by.

You know if you survive the suicide mission, you can go play any missed missions and DLC after the credits roll, right? Just do your new game+/finish the game/whatever and play the DLC when it comes out.

But I do know that this wall of silence is a ticking time-bomb. They could either come and announce that it's here very soon, in which case it will explode with joy.

Or they could not saying anything in the next 20 hours, in which case it will still probably explode ... but in a completely different way. ... That'll sure be an interesting day on the forums.

They REALLY shouldn't have said a couple weeks.

That being said, since they cut off the expectation before the actual date hit (thank javier!), giving them an extra week was no sweat at all.

This time, they are not cutting off people's expectations before the time hits, so methinks it has to be coming today. They wouldn't be so foolish as to let this continue if it wasn't, would they?

That's a fair point.

They DID do us the courtesy of not having our expectations fall flat on their faces last week by cutting them off early, and basically saying "give it an extra week".

So we did ... and no one is cutting off our expectations this time. That HAS to be a good sign.

(Well, it doesn't "have" to - but it sure seems like it)

So they learned nothing from Delay to Ostagar? Never give dates, never even hint at them since people will take it as truth and begin whining when you inevitably miss them.

So, when are they suppose to release the new DLC?

Well there is a TON of circumstancial evidence that all supports today - but we've heard NO official word so ... well, things are pretty interesting right now.

I don't understand why everyone is so convinced that it is coming out this week. The only sources that seem to say this are rumors of, shall we say, questionable authenticity, and have somehow become incredibly reliable.

Unless Bioware/EA makes a public statement regarding this, I shall assume that it will be released when it is released.

It is only circumstancial stuff - but there's SO much of it.

Bioware Twitter
Mod Confirmation and saying that it was this week
The EA Phonecall saying Wed.
The Patch Notes telling people to get ready for vehicle controls
The refusal of the mods to DISCREDIT the idea, when they DISCREDITED the idea it was last week with a "wait until next week" message.

...

It's not like it's just A single rumour.

Was the latest FREE DLC not enough for you?

Just be patient mate.

Yay, free stuff that is never gonna get used, yaay.

It is still free.

They say there will be more. Perhaps "Thanks, man" would be a better response than "dont want it!" Maybe in a month they will release some thing you love.

Complaining about free content....

Yes, complaining about free content. I'm sure you'd be ABSOLUTELY ECSTATIC if someone walked up to you in the street and handed you a broomstick covered in feces.

Because it's free!

Hold on...  The Hammerhead is NOT free. I have paid for it. It was part of the deal when I bought ME2 and it was supposed to be out within a couple of weeks. A couple usually means two or a few and we are nearing a month now. If we cross that month then we are talking about a couple of months. :P

That's certainly one way of looking at it.

Still, if it's coming today - I'm still happy.

When did javier do this?  Plus no disrespect to him, but he is just a moderator and not a dev.  He can correct me if I am wrong, but I doubt the moderators are given any more info then we are.

Really depends on BioWare. I am a professional moderator. Where I work, we aren't told ****. My friend who works at Paragon Studios (NCSoft) however, is privy to all kinds of stuff, that sadly, he can't tell me :P

The source was this tweet. At the time everyone considered that it would be either the Hammerhead or Kasumi. BioWare may have meant the Cerberus armor stuff, though. They never commented on that. As usual they stayed silent about it. The main problem with BioWare that makes people angry is the lack of information. They also promised to keep us informed, but as DA:O's Sten would say: The cake was a lie.

Anyone noticed how useless the in-game Cerberus network info is? Both the armor and the patch never showed up there. ;)
