Keep in mind that very few people actually saw a Geth, since no one has ever visited the Geth world and back, and the few Geth that are willing to visit organics so far aim at destroying all organic species, except for legion.

what we learn from mass effect is an 7 dimentional world cose the act of gaming , and savepoints and etc ;) and it wont be possible for a game to have 14 dimention i think cose otherwise you have 2 realities running and that you see a portal on it and another dimention that you go through
