Kaidan and Jacob are not hated... they are just viewed as "boring".

I also think Kaidan, and all of the other ME1 squadmates, would have really benefited from the type of character-specific missions the squadmates got in ME2. A perfect mission for Kaidan would have been if they'd fleshed out the one with the L2 biotic terrorists and gave Kaidan a more personal connection to them. Maybe Shepard and Kaidan storm the freighter to rescue Chairman Burns, only to discover that Rahna, the girl Kaidan knew at BAaT, was leading the terrorists. Then, after the obligatory combat, you have to convince Kaidan to either arrest Rahna so she can be tried for her crimes and hopefully rehabilitated (Paragon), or kill her because she's too dangerous to be allowed to live (Renegade).
Ah, if only...

That's not being a punk and talking ****.
It's concern and disappointment. Thinking that people should never question you or your motives is you know, just a tad narcissistic.
Kudos to Kaidan/Ashley for you know, having their own opinions and doubts.
Their opinions and doubts are completely idiotic to me. I know Cerberus was doing some sick **** before but what more proof do you need than Cerberus agents showing up and saving your ass from being turn into Collector juice to prove their the "good guys" this time?
They proclaim Shepard to be a "god" and claim to love him/her but cant see pass the word "Cerberus" and look at the bigger picture.

I didn't say their opinions were, you know, correct.
They're wrong. Big deal. People hold seriously personal grudges over their understandable if misguided distrust.

thats fine if you want to buy into that bull sh*t . but kaiden did not give a dam about seeing Shepard all he saw was her working with Cerberus. well guess what alliance punk they are the ones that brought her back to do a job that the alliance is too stupid and unwilling to get up off their butts to do anything about. that punk coward talks down to Shepard as if she is nothing but garbage. the punk coward and the b*tch both need a serious lesson in respect and my female and male Shepard will teach them.

And I worry about the kind of people who plan "lessons in respect" after one conversation.
Plus, it's not bull ****. If you keep the Collector Base at the end of the game you will have basically confirmed Ash/Kaidan's worst fears about the implication of your involvement with Cerberus.
