there should have been an option to put a bullet in Legion's optic instead of bringing it onboard the Normandy.

also to erase EDI as your first act as commanding officer.

AI are not to be trusted. Shepard knows this.

No need. You can just leave him on the reaper. It's being destroyed anyhow.

How? You don't get no option there...

As shown above... along with the reactor core getting nuked B)

I don't get why we don't get the option that Jacob suggests...

"Space it!"

Because... no one has captured a live geth before? Technological research and all that stuff.

Just sell Legion to Cerberus if you don't want him.

Also without EDI, bad things will happen in the game..

Mmh. While I wouldn't do it, I think it would be nice for the option. Shep's killed thousands of those, it makes sense he wouldn't risk his life to bring it aboard his ship.

Edi was a bit sad as well. All I could say was "get that off my ship!" and then Miranda was like "it's alright. Edi's cool." and then Shep was like "Aight." No more questions asked. I kind of wanted to roleplay a gradual trust-development with Edi, but oh well.

You my friend are paranoid.

I trust Legion much easier than TIM for example.

So, kill the 'evil AI' that saved your life and got you off the derelict reaper. Or eliminate the 'evil AI' that saves your ass on numerous occasions with its hacking ability and intel gathering.

Ya there should be an option so people like you die more.

some of you are coming at this issue without nearly enough conditioned prejudice.

Anyone tried to destroy the big thing at the end with Miranda on your squad and having NOT done her loyalty quest?  Does she still act the same?  Cause that would be dumb.

I heard she still acts the same.

I don't get this whole "I am reluctant to recruit so and so because I do not trust him/her." Even if there is a betrayal by a crew member, this can potentially (assuming the story allows for such betrayals) lead to a dramatic/emotional set piece which probably includes an epic battle. So if you don't recruit him/her, you miss out on a chunk of the story no matter what.

As is already mentioned, instead of activating him, choose the option to send him to TIM.  Then he's gone forever from your squad.

Yeah randomly deciding to bring this geth on board considering all the ones I didn't bother on made no sense to me. Let alone thinking the AI room would be a good storage spot. It was about the stupidest decision Shepard could make next to sleeping with Morinth. Not that I actually got to make a decision on it.

Don't get me wrong, I do like Legion. But the way he joins felt very forced and made no sense.

This is racism against AI.

And yeah you put the Geth in the AI room.. and the assassin in the life support room... and the deranged lunatic right below the ship's power core.

I think Shep operates on the "Well if they want me dead I'll know when I'm floating in space" philosophy.

Er... not really random. He helped you through the Reaper, spoke to you, is wearing N7 armor, and knew your name. I'd be pretty damn curious.

In the IFF mission, it is obvious to everybody [anybody with a brain] that he is not like other Geth. Shep says exactly that. It talks to you, which none have ever done before. Its a single unit acing with intelligence, which none have ever done before. It knows your name. It kills husks. It risks its life to open the core room for you so you can blow it and escape.

After all that, if you think it is just another Geth that wants to kill you, then there is something very wrong with you.

Putting a Geth in an AI room does seem odd. I would have imagined a cargo room. But you do hav your own AI there that is much more powerful, so there doesnt seem to be an issue of hacking.

He also took lots of damage and lay on the ground like every other Geth body I've seen in the past. Also on Tali's Loyalty quest we've learned very directly what a bad plan bringing even parts of a geth onto a starship is.

Curious or not bringing him on board and storing him in the ship AI core is highly stupid.
