Other than the obvious "Yes you can kill Grunt during the suicide mission", I was just wondering if Grunt could be killed off like Zaeed can after the suicide mission if you left him in it till then (or does he vanish during the abduction?).

I know that if you release him beforehand you can shoot him, but he lives. Yet there seems to be information that would acknowledge that he can be killed without actually recruiting him. So I am just wondering if anyone has tried this?
