Out of all the Bioware games you've played, which would you rank as  your most favorite to least favorite?

For me....

(note I have never played Baldur's Gate as I was purely a console junkie when those games came out.)

Both KoTOR & NWN are a very distant from the top games... That doesnt mean they are bad games, just that I didnt enjoy them as much as the other 6!

That said... they're all good games. Based on what I've seen, Bioware is years ahead of the competition.

Neverwinter Nights 2 isn't a Bioware game. Obsidian(Bioware's ****) developed it.

Why do you dislike Baldur's Gate II so much? Not that I'm saying you shouldn't. I've known a few people that dislike the BG series. Just curious since you made a point of emphasizing it.



To those that chose NWN as their favorite, I applaud you. Also, Jolee Bindo 4ever.

1. Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal)

2. Baldur's Gate 1 - it's actually really difficult for me to rank the two BG games, since in many ways I have fonder memories of the first: it had a more interesting plot, better pacing, more sense of wonder and therefore better immersion... but ultimately, BG2 is the one I actually end up playing more.

5. Neverwinter Nights. I understand many people enjoyed the user-created content, but the single-player campaign was so bad that I never even finished it. Hordes of the Underdark redeemed much, but not enough to change my ranking.

Not played the NWN expansions, Jade Empire or KotOR enough to give them places.

Personally I think we should be able to include Planescape:Torment, NWN2, KoTOR II & The Witcher as they are all build on Bioware engines!

5. Dragon Age: Origins - although I did go through 3/4ths of the game conflicted on why I wasn't enjoying it as much as I though I should be. must have gotten over it somehow.

It has been my great shame that I never found the time to play Baldur's Gate 2. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it.
