So, I just stopped playing after a very long session, and what made me
really kinda mad was when Zevran sorta turned his back on me randomly.
I got in one of those encounters in Denerin(sp, but you should know
what I mean) and his buddy from the Crows popped up, and all 3 of my
answers resulted in him turning on me. I didnt have any somewhat
decent save point, so I was pretty much SOL and had to deal with it.
Now, what I want to know is why. He was even up to the warm level I
think, just for being around for so long and always agreeing with what
I was doing.
Did I do something that caused this, does this always happen and am I supposed to stop it?
The
only thing I can think of is this was right after the Crows approached
me and offered me a job. I figured since I am playing a sort of
malicious guy I would do some assassinations for cash. Did this cause
Zevran to turn on me?
I realize this was prolly already posted, but search seems to be broken. Any help would be great.
Zevran :(

he doesnt always turn on you, if you have high enough approval rating he will just walk away and leave you to fight the guy yourself, which you can berate him for after but he CAN leave you then as well, you need to give him a reason to stay....

In fact, if you have enough approval rating he will fight with you against Taliesen. If you have a romance it's even easier, but it largely depends on what you say during the confrontation.slydfoxxy wrote...

I do not believe I had high approval with Zevran before this encounter (40 tops?), yet he still ended up fighting with me against Taliesen. You probably just didn't say the right things.

When I did it, he helped me fight, and after the fight, he asked if he should stay or go, I told him to bugger off

I hate him. I was glad I could kill him for turning on me, otherwise i'd feel guilty.

I had him in the 70s (I wanted him to teach others how to be an Assassin) so I was nice to him. When the scene happened, I had 3 options. All 3 resulted in the same response of him turning on me, so I figured it was inevitable. I really wanted to keep him so when i checked for a previous load I would've had to go back too far so I didnt bother. Looks like it is still a mystery then, for me anyway.
