The following is with WSAD mapped to the Left stick of a gamepad, and the Mouse mapped to the Right stick through Xpadder.

When
you map S, the "MoveBack" command to a analog button it causes constant
camera spasms when pressed at the same time as "aTurn"(Look left/right)
with the mouse. When I press S on the keyboard & look left/right no
such spasm occurs. I've taken a look at the BIOInput.ini & I'm
certain that it's because of the different command types for W's
MoveBack/MoveForward and Xbox LeftY's "MoveForwardBack".

In the
case of WSAD all of their commands are the same, with just the actual
key (W,S,A, or D) and +/- value change. "W",Command="Repeat
MoveForwardBackFixed..." for instance. A would be "A",Command="Repeat
MoveForwardBackFixed...". In the Analog stick's case(taken from Atari
1980's BIOInput.ini) the commands for the left stick are as follows.
Bindings=(
Name="XboxTypeS_LeftX", Command="Repeat StrafeLeftRight 1.0 0.2 |
Repeat TacSel_TalentMode | Repeat GuiAxis BIOGUI_EVENT_AXIS_LSTICK_X
1.0 0.2 | Repeat GuiAxis BIOGUI_EVENT_AXIS_MOUSE_X 0.7 0.2")
Bindings=(
Name="XboxTypeS_LeftY", Command="Repeat MoveForwardBack 1.0 0.2 |
Repeat TacSel_TalentMode | Repeat GuiAxis BIOGUI_EVENT_AXIS_LSTICK_Y
-1.0 0.2 | Repeat GuiAxis BIOGUI_EVENT_AXIS_MOUSE_Y 0.7 0.2")

As
you can see the command type is different to begin with. WSAD had
"Repeat MoveForward" or "Repeat MoveBack" whereas the LeftAnalog's
X&Y Axis have "Repeat StrafeLeftRight" and "Repeat MoveForwardBack".

I've
tried combining the "Repeat" command into WSAD bindings but I haven't
been able to get it to create the desired effect.  Thanks in advance to
anyone who can solve this issue.

I am fully aware of Atari 1980's
BIOInput.ini that supports xbox360 gamepads directly. I do not like
this method. I highly dislike having the mouse removed from everything
but the map window(and moves slow there to top it off). By using
Xpadder you can keep the mouse's functionality by mapping it to the
right analog(cursor staying on screen in menus, faster browsing through
maps, easier menu selection imo, able to do other little tasks on your
pc without putting down your gamepad, the list keeps going). There is
only one instance of a problem. When a certain 2 functions are used at
the same time it causes camera spasms. Those two keys are S & Look
Left/Right. Note that this ONLY happens when S is mapped to an analog
source. It functions normally on D-pad/Buttons.

Also, any idea why I can't post
on the boards at http://meforums.biow....html?forum=127 ?
