i think one of the crimes of the game is that they put Tim Curry's voice to Howe's face. That was just sooo unbelieably cruel....

I always like going to the Pearl as a way of spending my money before going to see Goldanna so I can say "15 soverigns? Sorry, ain't got it". Most people prefer to spend the money on gear and useful things. Me? Pheh. Rather blow it on transexuals, bored dwarves, scarecrows, and insertion/extraction tools. Who the hell needs a felon's coat anyway? Oh, wait...Zevran did. Sorry, buddy.

So does the surprise me dwarf in drag.

Actually all the surprise me scares me. Especially the scarecrow one - the character looks so frightened afterwards.

The tranny elf's my fave (always leave them fearing for more!), followed by the male dwarf amongst the companions, though surprise me tops all. The drag-dwarf and the scarecrow were pretty disturbing. So were those "insertion and extraction" tools, which were, well...rather large. And the "magic wand" which looked like a maul that coupld drop an ogre in one hit...



I felt sorry for those poor nugs that refused to make eye contact with me. They just don't respect me anymore...

You can still say you don't have 15 sovereigns even if you do. I always have a couple hundred but tell the **** she's not getting a single copper of it. Besides, who needs excuses to visit the Pearl?! Felon's coat looks just like any other leather armor anyway...


Then again, my first "surprise me" was the scarecrows. I just haven't had the desire to try it again since.

Morality?  I don't think so.  Take her to the Soldier's Peak when you go the first time.  Spare Avenus, and ALSO allow him to freely experiment, including using Blood Magic.  She makes one comment, then blows the whole thing off with only a -3 Approval hit.

Now, you want to say she's a Paragon of MENTORING,  I'll agree fully.  And she has a nice story about the Grey Wardens.  Short, but nice (at least to me).
